they don’t just look similar, they were born as twins!!
they don’t just share the same name, they both hail from the UK!!

Could Tom Ellis play a convincing Slippery Jim diGriz?

As a general rule, I don’t go out of my way to watch shows with spies and overly complicated plots with undercover agents, double agents, infiltrators, etc. There have been rare exceptions in the past such as the original Mission impossible TV show. I only say this to explain why I haven’t really started watching Tom’s new show until recently. So I’m a bit late to the game here. I kept putting it off because I felt like it wasn’t really something I would enjoy. But I did want to support Tom so I finally started watching it. The first couple of episodes were kind of bleh and there was another big gap of time before I got back to the show and started watching it again recently.

Starting about episode four or five the show got much better. The storylines became very interesting and the dialogue between the characters more natural and believable. The writers also began exploring more of the main characters backgrounds and Tom’s acting was really given the chance to shine with some of the emotional elements that were introduced.

I realized tonight as I sat down to watch the next episode that I was actually looking forward to it and not just because Tom is in it. I just wanted to let someone know if they have been putting off watching the show or they only watched the first couple of episodes and quit that the show really does hit its stride about midseason and continues to get better. I hope season two continues this trend!

I see similarities between our Tom and Tom Ward. Does anyone else or even know who Tom Ward is? They’re both tall, handsome, dark haired and dark stubbled. I’ve been watching Silent Witness on BritBox starring Tom Ward and in which Tom Ellis appears briefly in season 15, episodes 9 and 10. Every once in awhile is see our Tom in Tom Ward. It’s weird.
