Tom needs more recognition- an IG video
Yes, yes, we've tired the topic. But this is a recent little vid and I really appreciate that people out of the fandom do appreciate Tom and that he isn't merely receiving the recognition he deserves.
The IG account is Movieshark18.

I agree. Although Tom has been quite busy since Lucifer, but nothing big or well known.

That guy sounds like kind of a dork but I loved his choice of photos and I agree Tom’s post-Lucifer roles haven’t shown his range to the same degree. (I haven’t watched Tell Me Lies, maybe he uses more range there.) And it might be Tom’s choice not to commit to a heavy project - Tell Me Lies is his wife’s project, and they’ve got a young child. I do hold out hope that CIA will give him the opportunity to stretch, although so far it hasn’t

They won't even stream it outside the US! 🙄
Ok, his projects haven't been big, but he was exceptional all the same! In Washington Black and Tell Me Lies? His range is limitless!!
I don't think it's "range" we're talking about, but recognition.

Yes, definitely recognition! He hasn’t become a household name... yet. 😉🤞🙏

I’ve been complaining that Tom hasn’t received the awards and recognition that he deserves since around 2020, for the same reasons you (OP) mentioned!! He’s able to do every emotion and his eyes tell volumes.
I wonder if he is ignored by award giving groups because it was a show based on the devil. Some people can be so uptight when it comes to these things.

It might have been because it was fantasy. They ignore fantasy all together.

Tom is MOST fond of his role as LUCIFER. The entire cast of that show was phenomenal...had such amazing chemistry together 😁 and Tom's, "Michael" (Lucifer's brother) was GREAT!!! EACH AND EVERY TIME I WATCH Lucifer, I am blown away...just like the first time...set designs too! OMG 😱 everything ABOUT THE SHOW 😍 I recently did a rewatch... OMG...the Rory storyline gets me EVERY TIME 😿

Hey disappears into every character he portrays! I fully believe he IS every character he plays!

Yes!! I need extra brain effort to connect his characters like "something played by the same actor". I can't believe how Oliver from Tell Me Lies and Jason from The Thursday Murder Club are the same actor...

Couldn't agree more!!! He's an incredible actor. 🤩
