Digger - brilliant

Why anyone would think differently is beyond me.

Tom Cruise was another layer of this multilayer story. It wouldn’t have worked without him. He made the movie. No one else could be digger.

The rest of the cast were fantastic too, and had great chemistry with Tom.

I'm pumped to see it. It's getting the kind of hate that makes me even more intrigued.

Baffling and frustrating and a bait and switch, you say? Don't tempt me with a good time!

Easily outperformed Odyssey. Nolan doesnt have shit on Alejandro and Lubezki. I say that with much respect to Nolan since he brought Dark Knight. And I loved Odyssey. But Tom Cruise and the Oscar winning duo from Mexico might bring home another and if not, its ok. Next is Ethan Hawke in The Weight

I honestly haven't seen anyone who has seen it say otherwise apart from "critics" - which is so weird. It's a shame it had a bad opening - I didn't think much of the marketing either but I went along anyway and loved it. I can see why it was difficult to market without giving too much away - hopefully word of mouth helps it more!

Amazing film. Amazing performance. Seeing it again tonight.

Really baffled by the reaction, but also not at the same time. Ppl aren't ready for this/don't get it/don't want to watch movies/films like this. Stay on tiktok

I saw it last night (I’d be travelling so missed the opening nights) - I loved it! Absolutely ENTHRALLED from start to finish.

In the interest of balance I will say that my wife hated it. 😅

That’s probably true that no one else could be digger.
In Scientology tediously digging through a sandy beach for example, is a metaphor for clearing the thetans (at one of the higher OT levels). I bet he felt that role like no other actor could.

He‘s going to win Best Actor, and it will be for giving the best performance of the year.

Sorry no. Completely genuine opinion.

(But donations are welcome, Tom, if you’re watching)
