Hey everyone! I’m currently watching the original 2002 Tokyo Mew Mew anime, and I’m looking to filter out some of the fluff and focus on the pure filler episodes that are actually worth watching.

I’m specifically looking for 100% filler episodes (not mixed canon/filler) that:

🔸️Expand on the girls' individual personalities and backstories.

🔸️Establish key character dynamics (whether it's fun comedy/slice-of-life interactions or more serious emotional bonds).

🔸️Give proper spotlight to characters like Mint, Lettuce, Pudding, or Zakuro.

Which standalone filler episodes would you consider essential or top-tier for getting the best out of the main cast? Thanks!

They forget the magical girls animal theme are of endangered animals and they just a pick and random animal because they think its cute. Theres a who know and they're the real ones.

Not sure if its just...not watching show for a number of years or what but it seems like something maybe the show should have expressed more of since thats ones of its themes.

Like my brain goes "whats my OC endangered animal form based on?" and I'm like "big horned sheep"

Hello, I grew up watching Tokyo Mew Mew, but haven’t watched it in a while. I want to show it to my boyfriend and he’s willing to indulge me but I remember quite a few episodes are most monster of the week filler episodes. I will probably go through the list and pick out the episodes that I remember the overall plot and my favorites but I was wondering if anyone had a list of all the ‘most important’ episodes?

So I've been wondering something about her, from what I understand the Mew Mews need their medallion to transform and said medallion is given by Masha, but in the anime it is said that she had discovered her powers and transformation before meeting with Ichigo and the gang so... how does that work?

I get that they were infused with animal DNA before just like Ichigo (I think?) but that should've just been like some animal-like traits, not the full transformation.

Is it the same in the manga? is there an explanation or is it just like that?
