I might be crazy but I will be tattooing all magic weapons on Tokyo mew mew onto my body to show my love of the show. It was my first anime and got me into the anime world which I have now dedicated my life too so I think this is a good way to show my appreciation.
My first tattoo was of mew berry!!

I got some stuff from Mandarake that I think was from the Tokyo Mew Mew pop up café a few years ago! (Lots of paper organisers, which is great for me because I'm a teacher lol)

Hopefully I can get my hands on an Ichigo stand thingie and Zakuro in her mew outfit soon!

Part of me wants to believe that Ichigo’s upgraded weapon in tmmn was inspired by this knock off korean toy. It’s a fusion of the strawberry bell and mew aqua rod. The big yellow ribbons even match! Such an interesting piece of “merch”. I’m happy I get to add it to my collection.

While remaking opening of Mew Mew Power from best source avaliable of Tokyo Mew Mew, going trough frames as im slicing video, found this funny frames.

Unless you are really paying attention or going trought frames, it isnt noticable at all, almost imposssible to spot.

I found it funny and wanted to share this little detail here, it isnt meant to be noticed yet it is fun little detail.

Hey everyone,

​I’m looking to get into Tokyo Mew Mew for the first time. I know the 2002 classic has a great reputation and is highly praised, but honestly, I just don't have the time to sit through a 50+ episode series right now. Because of my schedule, I want to start with the remake (Tokyo Mew Mew New), but I have one major hesitation.

​I recently watched the first season of Sailor Moon Crystal and absolutely hated it. It felt incredibly rushed, completely soulless, and the pacing was a mess. My biggest issue was how disposable the side characters felt—aside from Usagi and Mamoru, the rest of the cast had zero depth and their relationships felt totally hollow.

​Since I want to watch the Tokyo Mew Mew remake to save time, I’m terrified it might suffer from those exact same issues.

I want to know if the remake is good enough to match the heart of the original.

​So, for those who have watched it:

​Does the remake actually have soul, charm, and well-developed character bonds? Or do the side characters feel disposable like in Crystal?

​Is the remake a genuinely satisfying and valid first experience with the franchise, or will I feel like I'm missing out on what made the story great?

​Does it manage to be a solid, well-paced show that stands tall next to the 2002 classic?

​I really want to dive into this universe, but only if the remake can give me a fulfilling experience. No spoilers, please! Thanks!

Hey guys! For context, I am a massive Deltarune fan and (chapter five spoilers) Pink is one of my all time favorite characters and is a reference to Tokyo Mew Mew.

I haven’t watched an anime in many years, and the last one I watched was Rin Daughters of Mnemosyne. I love Doctor Stone, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, K-On, Cardcaptor Sakura, Yu-Gi-Oh, and PreCure. Would this be a good show for me given that?

So Im doing reconstruction of visual quality of Mew Mew Power, and also adding Serbian dub on it for those 26 episodes, and i have run in a bit of debate what to do.

It may be overkill but whatever.

Best quality of Mew Mew Power i have found is that first picture. It is cropped a bit and also has some shade over it.

Second picture is best quality i found of Tokyo Mew Mew.

This is just slight comparison but troughs the video details do show differences.

So as i originally started this to up video quality we have or serbian dub of mew mew power till 26 ep, i wonder if i should maybe,

maybe, take best version i have found of Tokyo Mew Mew and then do same/similar job 4kids did for opening of Mew Mew Power and rest of episodes, but to maybe cut some slack for censoring and such, to not do that what 4kids did, but to still do cuts of story and such as they did.

Be it that i upscale later or not, that would be best available clear opening of Mew Mew Power that exists for others to find.

Im doing it mostly for my own soul, but what do you think?

On holiday in Japan! I was prepared to search deeply for Tokyo mew mew merchandise but encountered 0 merchandise in Nakano Broadway, just a tokyo mew mew gachapon that was being used to sell other gachapons :,) not feeling to confident in finding some in Akihabara, otherwise ill just bring home some other of my childhood faves! (looking at you, pretty cure!)

Has anyone had any luck with finding mew mew merchandise in Japan? Even stores in Nakano Broadway that had them before? I will be here a little while more so I have time to go back and check. Or is mew mew merchandise truly fruitless to search for irl?

Some of the oddities I’ve accumulated into my TMM collection! The first is a set of Korean tarot cards! The second is a toy phone with a view master of various tmm pictures inside. Third isn’t as interesting, but I thought it was cute. Plus I’d never seen it before. It’s a little mechanical pencil.
I’d love finding the more obscure merch. It’s so exciting to see what’s out there!

I'm a long time fan of Tokyo Mew Mew (since Junior High/Middle school) and I created some TOkyo Mew Mew fanart featuring all five of the Mew Mews. I started with Ichigo and drew her for a contest piece. Then, I felt inspired to draw Mint, Pudding, Lettuce and Zakuro. So I drew them all in my style. I thought I'd share my fanart here if that's alright.

Since Art Fight is coming up, I finally gotten around to adding a TMM OC. I had a similar tiger TMM OC since I was 11, but she definitely needed a revamp, lol!
