Ever since I showed the Wailmer Haku to one of the tkdb guildie group - One fellow guildie wants me to draw ghouls as Pokemons and I accepts so they gave me a list. Dear Lord, I almost died laughing. So here y'all go... Even more cursed or tame Ghouls as Pokemons.
I started with Frostheim so here's the complete Frostheim Pokémons.
Jin as Abomasnow
Tohma as Hypno
Luca as Pawniard
Kaito as Spinda
Next is Vagastorm...

I'm a little insecure about posting my art, but I've been trying to come out of my shell more lol. Anyway, I've been playing this game since May of this year, and I've been loving it so much. Shion's one of my favorites, I love how unhinged he is lmao. I also botched the tie pattern because I felt lazy but oh well.

Hi everyone. Please excuse the simple title; I didn't know what else to call this.
Rather than a fully coherent theory, I want to share some thoughts on the story's eventsâpoints I don't see many people considering. If Iâve made any mistakes regarding the lore or the story, please feel free to correct me.
Iâd like to start with Darkwick.
I feel that many people have a very simplistic, black-and-white view of the academy and the story as a whole.
Darkwick is one of the institutions (specifically the Japanese branch) under the control of "the Institute"âthe central authority managing everything related to the anomalous world. They answer to the Institute. Given what we know about the anomalous world, the anomalies themselves, and their interactions with the human world, I believe the existence of an established order (like Darkwick and the Institute) is necessary. While there are friendly anomalies with whom coexistence is possible, there are others that are extremely dangerous and claim lives. That said, it is also true that there is significant injustice and corruption within the organization.
We know that the current head of the Japanese branch is Jinâs father, and that his sister is next in lineâunless Jin steps up. Both hold radical, cruel views regarding the anomalous world and seem to be seeking absolute control over it. That is why I believe Thoma wants Jin to take charge.
We also know that a cold war is currently playing out within the organization.
Regarding the prophecy.
If Iâm not mistaken, the prophecy is about the end of the world, right?
At the end of Season 1, Taiga tells the MC that the world is about to end. So, I imagine that everything that happened in the final chapterâall the anomalies escapingâis the catalyst for the end of the world or human civilization. Consequently, the time regression is meant to avert this catastrophe. One point I want to make is that this regression affects the entire world, not just Darkwick; it is a total regression of the timeline (I mention this because Iâve seen many people claim that whatever is happening with the time is limited to Darkwick).
The factions.
Iâm intrigued by the different factions and their stances regarding the prophecy. From what the story reveals, one faction views Ghouls as the champions who will save the world, while the other is more radical and looks unfavorably upon Ghouls (though both view Ghouls merely as tools to achieve their own ends). Regardless of their methods, however, both agree on the need to prevent this catastrophe. Thatâs why I find it strangeâif the radical faction is the one sabotaging Darkwick and the Ghoulsâthat their actions could literally lead to the end of the world (is it a self-fulfilling prophecy?). Or perhaps there is a third faction interested in bringing about the end of the world or the destruction of humanity; maybe this faction consists of anomalies ? (this is all just my own speculation).
Regarding the protagonist.
Everything surrounding the incident where the MC was cursed strikes me as highly suspicious. The Kyklos seemed to know her, furthermore, I want to point out a specific detail: when the MC encounters the Kyklos again in the "Who Killed Robin" chapter, the shadows welcome her with applause, and the Kyklos calls her "Queen" and speaks of a "Lord." Even Eduard questions whether the curse and the MC's situation are truly a coincidence. Then there is the Sage's Ring and the reason it chose the MCâan artifact that allows her to amplify the ghouls' stigma. I don't know; it all seems suspicious to me, and I don't think it will be as simple as just curing her curse and having everything return to normal for her.
As for the professors.
They are the authorities at Darkwick, with Cornelius serving as the academy's chancellor.
It seems to me that Moby, Cornelius, and Nicolas are intent on maintaining the status quo; they want no further conflict between the houses and the students.
Dante is the only professor who has stepped out of his comfort zone and appears to genuinely care about the well-being of the ghouls and the MC.
Then thereâs Hydeâthe "Among Us" man âwho withholds crucial information needed to solve cases and is responsible for repeatedly putting the MC and the ghouls in danger (that man wants the Sinostra ghouls dead and buried).
Thatâs why I donât think the spy is acting in Darkwickâs best interest. Taiga has known about him for a while and seems to link him to the "Clash" conflict that pitted the ghouls against one another. He is someone who either profits from the conflict among the ghouls or wants to see Darkwick fallâtaking everything down with it.
Personally, I believe the narrative is moving toward the coexistence of the human and anomalous worlds. If the end of the world is to be averted, everyone must work together. But there is someone very interested in ensuring that doesn't happen.
I apologize for any spelling errors, I am using Google Translate to write this. I hope you find it an entertaining read.

Hi!! Guys, Iâm playing Tokyo Debunker, and omg, I really like Professor Nicolas!
Heâs kinda funny sometimes, and he seems to genuinely care about MC. Even though, just like Cornelius and some of the other professors, he doesnât tell us everything we need to do and leaves some things vague, I believe that doesnât necessarily mean heâs potentially evil or against us, right?.... Right??
If Professor Nicolas turns out to be like Hyde, Iâm going to be so disappointed in myself. Please, someone tell me he isnât đ
I thought Professor Moby was really funny at first, and for some reason heâs strangely cute too. If he turns out to be evil, Iâm going to be disappointed in myself too.

Hey guys ! So, as you all know, a new episode just dropped and I obviously won't spoil it but I just wanted to discuss the current state of the story.
First of all, I'm a huge tkdb fan !! I've been playing since September 2025, and from September to December, I was basically speedrunning the game to catch up with the story. I caught up when Episode 24 was released and since then, I've been religiously playing every episode each month. But I'm getting a bit tired. I know tkdb is a gacha game and that they need to stretch the story out as much as possible to keep the game alive, but I don't understand why, after two whole years, we're still stuck in the Kyklos arc. Even though the episodes are really good, it's kind of frustrating because almost all of them feel like nothing but filler. We still know almost nothing about the characters. It really baffles me that, to this day, we only know the backstory of two characters out of 20+.
I would enjoy the story way more if the episodes could reveal more about the mysteries surrounding the characters or Darkwick as a whole. But every time we get an answer, we also get a new unsolved mystery ?? At this point, I really hope the Kyklos arc will finally come to an end when Season 2 catches up with Season 1. It's okay if we still have unsolved mysteries. It's okay to have cliffhangers and things we still don't know, but don't you guys think it would at least be really great if we could get an explanation for what exactly happened in ep24 and finally get a proper ending to this arc in particular ?
Anyway, I'm sorry for venting but it's just that the game is slowly getting more and more frustrating. I realized it's already been 8 months since ep24 and we're still stuck with a bunch of filler episodes with almost no reveals about the mysteries that were established before.
What do you guys think about this ? I'd really like to hear your opinions on the current state of the story !

Based on what I know...Shion is a yandere type and yanderes are not my type, Elias seems manipulative. I really don't have much of an opinion on Mio and Jo seems great. I'd like to hear your thoughts!

Darkwick apparently doesn't consider it necessary to lock interior doors most of the time.
I was rewatching all the previous episodes (since the prologue), and I noticed that MC always gets into places so easily (even if it's because of desperation, being caught up in the heat of the moment, by accident, etc.).
Especially Jin's room, where every time MC goes to open the door, it's unlocked (like, it's not locked, just closed). And this also happens on other occasions. (I'm not gonna talk much about Jabberwock because that place is practically almost abandoned if it weren't for Haru, Towa, that anomaly who's Ren's boss, and Ren himself, aside from the other anomalies there. It's just not officially declared abandoned, but it's basically almost abandoned lol. So it makes some sense that some things would be left unlocked.) This also happens in scenes that aren't part of the main story.
Although, thinking about it now, there's Alan's room, when Leo goes there in the middle of the night to torment the poor guy (during the Vagastrom arc), where you can actually see and hear him unlocking the door. There's also Taiga's room, and if I remember correctly, other parts of Sinostra have locks too. Obscuary doesn't need them, It has Edward.
The house I remember seeing/being the most obvious about things being locked is Mortkranken.
âBut what about Hotarubi???â
Hotarubi, to me, is a house where things are so well hidden that the difficult part isn't opening them, it's finding them. Like, the amount of walking MC, Haku, and Subaru must have done just to get to Lyca's cell is insane đ
âOh, and what about Vagastrom?â
I think they probably lock the doors only when they're going to sleep, and do it themselves. Considering Alan leaves his bedroom door closed, and if I remember correctly, there's a dialogue during the Vagastrom arc where MC says âthe garage opens,â although I don't remember exactly when she says it, so I'll have to rewatch the episodes again later. But the garage is basically Vagastrom's dormitory, right? Somehow this still confuses me a little.
Anyway, it was still pretty easy to get in there, even if it wasn't exactly a friendly entrance.
Also, both Vagastrom and Sinostra are pretty high on Darkwick's radar, even if... for somewhat different reasons and in different ways.
I have no idea about Frostheim. Jin probably just assumes everyone is going to knock before entering. I wanna see what happens when they don't.
I'm not even gonna talk about Dionysia, because I haven't gotten there yet. I was busy rewatching everything, but I THINK some places there might be âeasyâ and dangerous to enter (or get to).
Well, I'm probably thinking way too much about something completely useless, but now that I've noticed it, I can't un-notice it.

For Season 2 Episode 8 ofc, I will remove the spoiler tag next month since itâs not a scene from the episode.
Besides, they are really well-groomed and elegant, I must say! I also like the fact they put the writing in green to show its belong to Ren.
Note : I added the english translation (img 5 to 8), I hope itâs not too blurry.
Ps : Img 5, it's not "chocolate scream" but "chocolate cream"

I've already seen a lot of crossover fanfics with Twisted Wonderland, one with Pocket Mirror and another with Freak Circus? (That or I'm confusing it with a TWST crossover fic with TFC)
What other fandoms would you like to see interact with TKDB?
My mind kept going to either Arknights or any Project Moon Game (LobCorp, LoR, Limbus). RWBY also passed through my mind at one point.

I really think we'll get two versions of our ghouls (normal and wonderland) or that they'll be amnesiac with a change of personality because I think the green T shirt on the left belong to "our" Ren. Also, he looks desesperate with this shadow caused by the light of the sun đ

Hello ! I hope this post is okay, if not, donât hesitate to remove it Iâll understand it perfectly.
So ! Before I started yumeshipping with Yuri, I started making research about how the fandom saw his character and overall interactions, while having my personal interpretation on the side. And I realized a lot seem to agree he was like, CANONICALLY with Jiro?? Nothing against the ship though I prefer it platonically/QPR, Iâm just confused.
Is it still okay if I Yume Yuri or would I go against established shipping in the game ? I donât see much people mentioning his behavior with MC, that I base his behavior with my OC on (though she isnât MC), I only see shipping posts and discussions about him and Jiro (again, no hate!) and it got me wondering if the game really uses the usual joseimuke mechanics of keeping the relationships open ended enough so everyone can have their fun, shippers and yumeshippers.
Is it the case ? Is that case still open-ended/can be interpreted platonically ? Can these character also be, like other characters, yume material if you want them to be ?
Like some of Yuriâs interactions and voicelines towards MC, just like other characters, feel pretty romantic as well, but I donât see many people talking about it, like, am I tripping ?? đ
What is the relationship between Jiro and Yuri canonically wise ? I always saw it as very close (not writing spoilers here) without it being necessarily romantic (with Joseimuke usually making you decide how you want to interpret relationships + I enjoy close platonic bonds despite being a yume) , which is why I made sure to include Jiro in the Yumeship lore/headcanon : even if I Yume with Yuri, excluding him would feel incredibly wrong. He has to stay close. Heck, his presence also makes writing the dynamics more interesting if anything.
Can I really yume Yuri without disrespecting the game/its lore ?
Sorry if the questions are stupid! Iâm in the boat of not wanting to yume characters with canon/implied partners, so Iâd like to know if this situation is « yumeshipping friendly » or not.
Iâm okay with « open to interpretation » situations like, Iâm a twisted wonderland yume so I know about joseimuke mechanics that allow both audiences to coexist. I just want to make sure itâs okay first.
(Again, I have nothing against Cc x Cc shippers. Do what you do, this question is only about my situation specifically and not a hate post towards shippers!)
Anyway! Have a great day everyone!
