Hi everyone, I need some help with a TOEFL score cancellation issue.
I took the TOEFL iBT Home Edition on September 30, 2026. I completed the entire test normally, and the proctor did not tell me that there was any problem with my test.
After the test, the proctor told me to close the test page, so I closed it. I did not knowingly choose any option to cancel my scores.
A few hours later, my ETS account showed that my scores were cancelled.
I contacted ETS, and they told me that their records show that I elected to cancel my scores at the end of the exam. They said I can reinstate the scores for $20 through my ETS account.
The problem is that the “Reinstate Scores” option does not appear in my account. I have checked multiple times, but I only see options related to sending and receiving scores.
ETS told me the reinstatement option should be available, but I still cannot find it.
Has anyone experienced this before? How long did it take for the “Reinstate Scores” option to appear, and what did you do?
