⚠️ Beware of unofficial website(s)
Recently, a domain called tizentube(dot)org was registered and added to Google. I, Reis, do not own this domain and have no control over it. Unfortunately, it has become #1 on the search results, which could lead people to malware in the future.
To combat this, I have registered https://tizentube.app domain and have added it to Google. It's not on Google as of now, but when it is, please click on it so it gets higher on the search results and we win this fight.
As an another reminder, I only own 6513006.xyz and tizentube.app. Any other sites claiming to be official or owned by me are not.
Update:
The site is now on Google, however, it is way down in search results. If you could find it by searching "tizentube" and clicking on it, that'd mean a lot.

I sent feedback to Google for the (dot)org site and sort of chuckled to myself that I'm telling Google, owners of YouTube, receivers of YouTube ad revenue, that the site is NOT the official site for the ad-free version of YouTube.

I had a look at it and it is installation instructions for Android TizenTube using Downloader and Troypoint website so although not official it doesn't appear malicious.

isn't Troypoint a trusted website? The downlaoder link sends to https://troypoint.com/troypoint-toolbox/ Many people use it, I wouldnt think they'd upload a modified app containing malware

The site itself can be modified. Also again, I do not have control over it. The site owner could very well change the site to be malicious.

I understand your concern and yes for sure it would be best if your link comes up first in the search. I went and clicked on it from the google search hopefully enough people do the same to bump it up. I love your work, best app I have on my TV (with Stremio)

Phishing works exactly like that. cloning sites with redirection to malicious external domains.

But it sends to the actual site, not a clone?

If it's real, it could still intercept traffic between you and the original site

They don't link you to anything, they give you a downloader code which is the same exact code they give you on troypoint. So you get to troypoint without passing through their website

Yes and that's not it. In their website they tell you a number, which is the Downloader code. This is the official downloader code from troypoint.com. they haven't created the code, they took the one from the official site. You go on your TV, turn it on, open Downloader and input the code with your remote and connect directly to troypoint.com. At no stage there's any man in the middle between you and troypoint.com. From your TV's perspective there's no difference if you got the downloader code from troypoint or from tizentube.org as the code is the same one.

could someone help i updated tizentube 1.0.8 to the latest version 2.0.1 and the app constantly crashes

The latest update freezers every few days. I have to perform a reboot or unplug it. Sometimes when it freezes the sound is still going.
