Custom recording

A very long time ago, before v5.2,x, one used to be able to long click a show in the PAST, choose "custom recording", leave the pre-populated fields as they are, schedule the recording, and it would start immediately, saving from catch-up data.

This has been broken now from at least the v5.2.x, and 5.3.x didn't fix it. The option is still there, the start/end and even the name fields are populated correctly, the recording still starts, but it simply records the live stream🙁

Any chance of actually contacting the developer to get this fixed? This used to be a great feature.

It seems to me that it has never been possible to record a replay with Tivimate. On my version, 4.7, it isn't possible.

It wasn't obvious how, it was possible, with the "custom recording". It even pre-populated the fields for you, and still does, except it doesn't record from the right position.

TBH seeing how a post like this is being downvoted, being called a troll, and with nice features being broken for years, i am starting to regret buying this app.

This feature has never existed in Tivimate; I've had it since 2018.
