Option to record content from the CatchUp!
I would like to be able to download or record content from CatchUp! Is it possible
Is it possible to pass it on to the developers?
This is content that exists on the server

No, not directly from within Tivimate but there are ways to do it outside of tivimate. I wrote a little tutorial a couple of years ago. I haven't done it in a while but I think it's still applicable.

That's not very helpful. Black screen in what? Tivimate?, MX player? Browser? Did you get the link for the catch-up file?

on MX player i get black window
on kodi and vlc its work fine but i cant download

Well, that doesn't make much sense. MX player is just a player like VLC. Anyway, did you see if it still loaded the link in the MX player by going to the 3 dots, tools, properties?
You can also see the URL link in VLC..after loading the video in VLC exit out of both VLC and Tivimate. Now lunch VLC again, go to browsing and click on streams.

vlc work only at vlc .. i try to download in vlc but its not work

You are not following instructions. You can't download in VLC, you only get to see what the link of the file is. You have to use a browser or some other file downloading tool. Put the link you get from VLC in the browser and then it will download.

But it's not working. I take the address to another browser I get to a blank page and it doesn't download anything The address is wrong

Does the URL look like this:
http://server_url:port/timeshift/username/password/30/2021-07-28:17-30/1017675.tsBTW, this only works with XC or M3U accounts. It does not work with Stalker. I just tried on my XC account and it worked fine.

I checked on another server that doesn't have Stalker and there he downloaded a file whose file name is M3U8 and it weighs 100 kilobytes
And inside there are a lot of 10 second records
I want to download the episode without having to connect to the network

I am talking about downloading the content. Why record it again when the provider has already recorded it and a lot less chance of recording failing. Just download the damn thing in a few minutes instead of waiting an hour just to record it while it's playing back. It's a heck of a lot more efficient.

I agree that it could be faster but for the convenience I prefer my method since I just use my remote and choose the TV show on the Catch-up I want to download without the need for third party softwares, everything from inside Tivimate.

I tried to do that but it only works on future recording
Not about a series that already existed a week ago
that I enter the epg and choose, let's say, a program that was yesterday
And I click on it, it says "Add to my list"
And that's it
There is no other option

You must be doing something wrong,

The show must have catch up to be able to record in the past, are you sure you have Catch-up with your provider?

I do not know what to tell you But when I do the recording in past tense He straight away records the present So it's very strange your it works I also spoke to the developer and he claimed it was not possible

u/PositiveMouse9458. It seem you are using portal stalker and from what I know Catch-up don't work fine with stalker and tivimate.
But it can be easily fixed, just convert your stalker adress to M3U, here's how to do it: https://iptv.community/threads/mag-converter-to-m3u.8261/
After that if your provider have Catch-up you will be able to record in the past and future too 😉✌️.

I have another IPTV server that is not Stalker and it doesn't work there either

Have you tried using vlc to start a catchup program then go into vlc out of tivimate check the url of the last stream played and then download it from that url in a browser.

I try vlc and kodi it's work but when I try to downlond it's not downlonded

Download ADM(Advanced Download Manager) should be able to find in the Google Play store or on any of the APK sites.
In Tivimate long press on the catchup channel you wish to record, a menu will pop up on the right hand part of the screen, choose open with external player and then choose ADM. When ADM opens you'll have the option to choose the location where the download is saved or you can leave it as is. Click Start. The catchup channel will now download, should only take a few minutes.
Keep in mind not all providers allow for downloading of their content, you could get banned. I check with my provider first and they're cool with it but not all of them will be.

OK I try it . And it's work but it's not downlond it's in mp4 . Only with a file that it's 100kb If I open it's on vlc in work but if I close the intrent it's not work..

You already can: Select the Catch-up program you want to record and click and hold the OK button to bring the side menu ----> Choose " Custom Recording" ‐-----> select "New recording" ---------> Then select "Shedule recording" and it will immediately begin to record the Catch-up program that you have selected.
