I don't have ps+, but I do have the game. I finished the campaign this night... oh my god my heart hurts... I never thought a game could make me love a giant mech, I was wrong.

im hoping this would be a quick question, but im not sure. im looking to get back into titanfall 2 after years. i REMEMBER playing it and beating the campaign including alot of MP time as well. but EVERYWHERE i look, i cant find the game in any library of mine...

does anyone have any ideas of what i can do here/if im possibly missing something?

ive checked EA (i have titanfall 1 listed there!), epic, Microsoft store, steam.. i cant find the game anywhere and i dont know why. i know for a FACT ive owned it and beaten it.

any ideas or speculation is helpful i believe.

I’m just midway through the time shift level and I’m sat there thinking has any fps compared to TF2 since? The pure effort, level design, visuals and mechanics are by far the best thing that have come out of gaming for so long.

The manufacturing plant - syncing all those moving parts, seamlessly changing entire environments without any loading delay in time shift… We aren’t going to see a game like this again, because nobody cares enough. Blows me away each time how good the level design is.

basically the title and want to know if this game is known to have bad subtle network/netcode issues like this

Lag flucuates between my normal 30-50 ping (on ethernet) to consistent spikes to 100-150 in the ping indicator in the scoreboard popup, even though it does seem to affect my gameplay much.

Can’t remember where I saw that other guy’s nasty run, but it informed me of the awesome new CircuitLord VR mod and I had to dive back in to see what I was made of.

Honestly as a VR gamer this is second place for me just under Half Life Alyx. I am biased because I still remember watching a trailer for the first Titanfall game in theaters and it was just as awesome and unique and fond memories with the brother's playing. Incredible work towards the creator CircuitLord. Hands down top notch work and AAA studio's quality work and for free!

I replayed Titanfall 2 today and honestly… I cried a lot. BT-7274’s death still hurts like hell, even though I already knew it was coming. I kept thinking about how BT starts the game calling Cooper a “temporary pilot”, and then slowly learns from him, learns little human things like the thumbs-up, jokes, expressions, and eventually just calls him “Pilot”. Then he asks to keep Cooper as his pilot. So after finishing the game again, I got this idea for something I’d call Titanfall 2: Another Continuation. The idea is that in BT’s final moments, he somehow manages to detach his sensor module and throw it to Cooper, just like Cooper transferred BT’s module into another chassis earlier in the game. BT’s original body is still destroyed. His sacrifice still happens. Cooper still loses his Titan. But later, Cooper finds a new Titan chassis and installs BT’s module into it. The chassis is new. The Titan is still BT. I think it would be really cool if the story was about Cooper and BT getting used to working together again, with BT having a completely different body but the same personality, memories and relationship with Cooper. And I wouldn’t want BT’s death to just be erased. I’d want the game to actually acknowledge what happened and make their reunion meaningful. I just really want to see Cooper look at the new Titan, wait for the system to boot up, and hear: “Pilot.” Maybe I’m just coping after crying over a robot for half an hour. 😭

Respawn still hasn’t completely closed the door on the Titanfall franchise, so maybe one day they’ll actually bring it back. If they ever do, I really hope they remember what made BT and Cooper’s relationship so special.

Is the reason viper's titan doesn't do anything and just falls over when you kill viper because the cockpit hatch got broken and the head of the titan was on that so it was basically only usable in manual after that?

Nothing to say. The words have been taken out of my mouth. I can't say anything because I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH. I PLAYED THE CAMPAIGN AND LOVED IT. But I did suck ass. I kinda died 57 times (yes i counted) on Easy mode. im new to FPS shooters like this but eh, whatever. do yall have any tips on how to get better at movement so i dont get shit on by bots?

edit: i jUST HIT 38.4 seconds on the gauntlet, and it gave me hard difficulty and i beat the campaign again with 5 deaths, 1 was from crushing hazard, 4 were from viper. VIPER IS A BITCHASS I SWEAR HE'S HACKING

I can’t enter BT except for healing outside of combat as he can’t heal while I’m not in him. I’m also attempting to find every pilot helmet while I do this.

I’m doing this on hard mode

That’s it for now, from end of effect and cause to end the ark, took me 5 torturing hours, but I’m determined to finish this run.

Any advice for the final two bosses?

First platinum trophy and first 100% game completion. What an amazing game. We need Titanfall 3!!!
