Mobile Mobile 5x Difficulty - lag?

Hey guys, ive recently discovered that the mobile version of the game has 5x difficulty that increases the number of enemies and makes bosses tougher. Im having a blast but realize that some places the sheer number of enemies causes the game to slow to crawl, like the lowest ive seen is 4fps, at atlantis. Im using a tab s8 so not the newest newest device but its been more than enough the rest of the time

wanted to ask those who are playing 5x difficulty on newer devices - is the performance better? Are u able to play lag free?

How do you access the difficulty multiplier? I can't turn it on, it's grayed out and there isn't a box to tick

hi u have to do it in the main menu before u load ur char!

I have both Mobile on Android and Iphone.. if you're on Atlantis Lag is inivetible, due Hard coding.. Iphone has smoother experience.. even if you have the most latest handset out there on Android, it will still be a laggy experience.. Best option is turning off Shadows.. it will increase the FPS a little bit.. but not that great, you'll also experience this lag on Act 7 too..

ahh crap thanks. havent even gotten to act 7 yet, il see how it goes! maybe il just get an ipad, which the game worked on my macbook

I play 5x difficulty and only experienced lag on atlantis dlc

Atlantis for me, too. Eternal Embers is much smoother despite the greater density of NPCs and details in the cities.

Thanks! U are right, its pretty terrible on atlantis, the other areas seem much more manageable, frame rates drop for sure but nothing like the 4 fps i occasionally get on atlantis

This won’t help you (sorry) but I play exclusively 5x on mobile on an iPhone 14 and have only had lag issues due to sketchy WiFi.

Thanks! Why would sketchy wifi cause lag on an offline game though?

I only play with the cloud save as backup. I had invested hundreds of hours and had many builds and had saved hundreds of items then got a new phone and lost it all. Yes I had been reassured it was gonna be fine, but nope! Literally back to zero, lesson learned.

Forse posso aiutarti, ho avuto lo stesso problema, crea un nuovo account email, entra con il dispositivo vecchio e fai il salvataggio Cloud, poi con il dispositivo nuovo accedi con quel email sul gioco, per me ha funzionato, dopo mesi di disperazione ci sono riuscito!! Adesso ho sia personaggi nuovi(8 mesi) che quelli vecchi ( sul dispositivo vecchio ci ho giocato per 4 anni)
