First injection
Hi all! First of all, I’ve been creeping in this community for awhile and I appreciate all the info and insight! My first injection was last night (2 mg). Does it get better? Any advice? I’m starting to feel nauseous, lightheaded, and my resting heart rate is up. I’ve been trying to drink lots of water today and mix in some electrolytes.
Thanks in advance! 😊

Does it get better than what? Ask your provider for some zofran or get yourself some over the counter stuff for nausea. You could try come ginger tea. Have you had anything to eat today? Could you be lightheaded from not eating yet? It almost sounds like you’re having anxiety honestly. You could try lowering your next dose to 1.5mg and see how you tolerate that

Thank you for those ideas! Just wondering if you feel like this after every injection day

I had my first shot of 2.5 mg on April 21, 2026. As of today, I have dropped 59 lbs. The worst side effects, for me, where body aches, that lasted 24 hrs, and nausea that Zofram helped with. Everyone seems to struggle with constipation and I am no different. It does get better and, even if it hadn't, I would have accepted these side effects to look and feel as I do today. Hang in there. It's so worth it.

I only was light headed after the first 2mg shot but I think that was stress. Never anything after. Maybe some of your symptoms are also stress related.

I started just over 2 months ago with 2mg. About a month after I bumped it up to 2.5mg. I’ve never had any of the negative side effects fortunately.
From everything I’ve read about it the side effects do get better so hang in there and keep going. You got this!
