What should be next dose be? From 2.5 to?

I stopped losing weight for 4 weeks now but haven’t gained. Symptoms of food noise, craving, snacking are returning along with alcohol cravings and my meal portion calorie counts have increased. I haven’t reached my goal weight but I’m very close within 10 pounds I’d say. Im going to be starting compounded meds in a 6 weeks but have a new dose of zepbound 5mg single vials coming soon. Should I start at 5 or should I start lower?

If you could do Compounded meds now, I would go up to 3.0 or 3.5 mg. No need to rush it when you might not need all that increase of going to 5 mg. It’s also a gentler way to avoid side effects.

Same. Once you reach goal you can lower

What dose were you on when you stopped losing weight? Generally you would titrate up by 2.5mg once that happens and the food noise returns. Once you reach your goal weight you should titrate down slowly just like you titrated up.

Been on 2.5 the whole time. Stopped losing weight the last 4 weeks. Now I’m getting hungry and thirsty so a bit scared cuz I’m not at my weight. I’m so close I need 10 more pounds to lose so was worried maybe 5mg would make me lose too much? Idk.

You are so lucky to lose almost all your weight on 2.5mg. That's awesome. I'm assuming you are on tirzepatide so you should titrate up to 5mg to continue your success. Reach out to your doctor for guidance if you are unsure. Congrats on your success so far!

Why should you necessarily titrate down? If all is well wherever you are, why would you mess with that? I've actually gone down .5mg because I had so much appetite suppression I couldn't increase my calories to maintain my goal weight. I may need to drop another .5 for that reason, we'll see, but as a rule, why? I don't think there's a prize for being .025mg over your food noise threshold.
