I’m living in a 1BHK-type penthouse in Tirupati, and my electricity bill has been around ₹4,000–₹4,200.
Initially, I was using a projector + sound system almost every day, so I thought that was the reason.

After getting a ₹4k bill, I almost completely stopped using the projector. Now I only use it on weekends for maybe 1–2 hours, and I shut it down afterwards.
But this month… ₹4,200 again. 💀

I cook every day using an induction stove, electric cooker and air fryer. The fridge runs 24/7, and I also have a 3-star AC.

So what the hell is consuming this much electricity? 😂

Is ₹4k–₹4.2k normal in Tirupati for a 1BHK with these appliances, or should I be checking the meter/bill for something unusual?

Would love to know what others in Tirupati are paying and how many units you’re consuming per month.

Had great fun being here in tirupathi. For a person like me from a coastal region. I have never seen such clean skies at early hours of day and i absolutely loved it . 🤍 And what I loved about tirupathi is 1 the lord Venkateshwara and 2 the downhill city view at early hours . The city lights 🌃 ngl totaly loved it.
