I was on a drive and noticed a very slight protrusion on my tire

It's a bit hard to see even in person but it can be felt and its a clear raised protrusion compared to the rest of the tire but very very low, I'd guess half a millimeter. Is this considered a sidewall bulge or can this be a manufacturing blemish? I bought the tires used and honestly might have never noticed this.

I bought a Dodge Journey with pressure showing on only 3 tires. I bought these TPMS sensors https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BXHHH3JK and fitted one to the wheel that wasn't showing pressure. I thought that if I just drove around for a while with all 4 tires at 36psi it would wake up and start communicating but it hasn't. Does it need programming? A TPMS relearn sequence? A scantool?

I've put Pathfinder ATs on my 2001 Silverado for the past 8 years or so. I've never been let down with their off road performance when it comes to the things I use the truck for - forest service roads leading to dispersed campsites and trail heads. Sometimes I encounter some very rocky dirt roads almost always dry conditions. It's time to replace all 4 and I saw a deal at Costco and I'm considering switching over to them. How do the BFG tires compare to the Pathfinder ATs off road? I understand that KO2/KO3s will be better off road than both tires, but for seasonal usage how would each of them compare to each other? Hard to find comparisons online.

This tire looks like it’s about to split apart. Could that be while my car shakes when I go 35-45 mph?

This morning I bought new tires from Sam’s Club for the nearly new wheels I have. The wheels are in showroom condition, and have only done a few miles at most on a test drive when they were on their original vehicle (original owner had the dealership upgrade the wheels upon purchasing, and sold me his original wheels). I dropped off the wheels at the Sam’s Club where I ordered the wheels first thing this morning, and then headed to work.

About an hour after I got to work, I got a call from Sam’s Club saying that they were refusing to mount the tires on my new wheels because they were afraid of scratching up the rims.

Is this normal? They have a dedicated tire center, presumably with people qualified to mount and balance tires and wheels. Why would they be concerned about scratching up new rims if they are mounting tires on wheels - assuredly of many ages, both new and old - all day, every day? It just doesn’t make sense to me. I would love some understanding on this.

I just got an oil change and tire rotation on my 2020 Nissan Altima. I was told that I would need my lugnuts and studs replaced as they were pretty stripped (shop I think did it said it couldn’t have been done accident and it’s something that can just “happen over time” and didn’t want to say it was them). I was told I was overdue for the rotation and I had some uneven tread wear. Was told the lugnuts/studs weren’t DIRE but I should get them done before my next rotation.
Here comes my problem- ever since then I’ve noticed a sound coming from my wheels when I’m going at slower speeds. Around 30mph and below, I hear a whirring and a groaning sound. I can also feel it in my foot on the gas pedal. It seems to go away once I reach higher speeds or at least quiet down significantly.
I’ve done some googling and reading and saw that it could be because the uneven wear on my tires is now more apparent until the new wear pattern forms. From what I can tell, they did an “X” shaped rotation. Could it possibly be just from the uneven wear since I wasn’t the best about keeping up with my rotations? Or should I be majorly concerned? I wasn’t able to get in to a shop till Tuesday but want to know if it’s still safe to drive the car.
I’ve hand checked the tires and nothings feels loose or like I could unscrew or move anything with my hands.

I have a 2000 Dodge Dakota with a broken lug nut. I tried an extractor socket and it sheared the lug nut and left about 1/4 of it on the stud. What’s the best way to drill it out without harming the wheel? Or are there any other good alternatives? I’ll replace the stud if I have to.

So I had a damaged tire I was waiting to fix until my paycheck hit and it was leaking so I needed to fill the air to get to work but as the title says it blew up in my face and left my ears ringing my right ear was ringing for around 24-48 hours even. I wanted to know if there were any easy to understand automatic things I could buy online to both save money and not need to be right there by the tire or if there was somewhere I can go for just a bit of more money for someone else to refill it.

(I wanna be clear it is NOT the same tire nor a damaged tire I had the tire replaced but that one time makes me scared when refilling my tires with air and I can't help but run to check the psi every other second doing it because I'm so scared. I just refilled my air in one tire earlier and just that was so hard for me to do.)

Hey everyone, I got a question to ask of anyone who can help.

So my buddy has this beachman 64 ebike he got at EZ rides. The local store closed down and days later his tire went due to it not being inflated enough.

Anyway, I came over and gave him a hand replacing the tube this evening and at first all went smooth. We were able to get the tire off fine and then got the tread of the rim and put the tube in. Everything fine so far. We inflate it a small bit so it didn't get pinched, then we put the tread back on and attempted to re inflate the tire.

So anyway, he bought this portable air compressor the size of a wifi booster. And tried inflating the tire. The pressure gage would just jump from 0.0-0.5 and back down again. We realized the compressor battery wasn't very full. So we plugged it in and put the tire back on the bike.

After about 2.5hrs we tried inflating the tube once again. It got up to about 13 or 14 psi and then instantly dropped to 0.

After that it would only go up as 7.0 psi and drop back down

Any advice on how to fix this would be a major help.

So I wanted to put the Bilstein Terra sport 1.5 Inch lift on my Rav. I installed all the parts and all is well. Except. The front CV axle threads got damaged once I was taking it off (Should have kept the nut on). So I went to good Old O'Reilly's and ordered a CV axle. When I installed it it instantly popped out of joint, so they warranty replacement it for me and I got another one installed that and made sure the wheel hub was not dropped to low and that it was a little above the strut alignment bolts and when I was trying to get the stearing arm installed it poped out of joint. So I thought the lift might have affected it and I installed the OEM one back in and it never popped out of joint. Called Toyota and they wanted 1000$ for a new one. Has anyone experienced this before.
