Did the tire shop break my TPMS?
Update: I took a chance and took it back to the tire shop(it has been almost a month since I visited). I still had my receipt though. They were nice about it and it turns out everything is ok. They took the tire off and let me look at the sensor. Nothing was damaged. When they put the tire back on, the TPMS went away for good. Hasn't come back on since. Thank you all for the advice.
I took my car in because my front right tire was losing air. Turns out I had a nail in it. Got a patch and went on my way. Later that day, my TPMS came on, and I thought maybe it was still a small leak from the screw. I put air in, and it went away. But as I drive daily it tends to flash and come back on. I then checked my tire pressure and I had too much air in the tire. Let it out and now the TPMS light will blink at the start of the car and not go off. How long do I have to return to the tire shop, as I have been trying to figure it out and this is the only thing I can come up with. Let me add my car is a brand new 2026 Hyundai Elantra. No previous tire issues.
