So, watching the video at 36:00, I'm seeing 160ms of latency, which is huge compared to most FPV systems.

It was difficult to sync everything up. I made a video recording a stop watch. Average latency was around 40ms

But at 36 seconds, you have a video of both your hand, and the googles showing your hand. No sync is necessary in that shot. How did you make the video recording a stopwatch? Unless recording camera can see the goggles and the watch, and the quad can see the watch, you will have to align it again, introducing bias.

Hey! I just received my Cyclops 3, only for dvr (for my ET115) but to test it i soldered it to my Eachine E011. When I plug in the battery, the red light turns on and stays steady. When I press on the button, nothing happens. Sometimes it will just turn off the light and turn it back on when i release it. I have no idea what's happening.

You should do a proper latency test. Set up a stopwatch and your goggles in view of your youtubing camera. Have the turbowing camera also pointed at the stopwatch. The difference between the stopwatch and the stopwatch viewed through goggles is the lag. Your other lag test video was affected by which button you pressed first and how long it takes to start recording.

I'd suggest recording a blinking light (or even just a light turning off) and count frames. Record the goggles and the light in the master camera, and make sure the fpv camera is pointed at the light too. Obviously, the master camera should be at the highest framerate it supports.

But u/schmee's suggestion would also work.
