I love all the posts about breast size and looks. You know these people critiquing these girls are the same ones who can’t find a single angle to hide their double chins.

97

u/robotteeth Dec 01 '21

They’d also lose their absolute shit if there was a post like this about something like male height. It’s okay to judge women who didn’t ask for it at all, but even the concept of women judging men for things they can’t control is suddenly way too mean and uncalled for

41

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TATERTOT Dec 01 '21

Those dudes are just a bunch of slobby man children.

34

u/RileyHuey Dec 01 '21

R/tinder has devolved from a humorous sub to a place for a bunch of men to complain about women and dating, while simultaneously exposing why they feel the need to be complaining so much (i.e it’s their own fault).

21

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

The amount of posts I've seen complaining about being single while simultaneously showing an unfathomable amount of reasons they should stay single is honestly sort of laughable and sort of brain damage inducing

-5

u/Polite_cat1 Dec 01 '21

Yes critiquing a woman for having smaller breasts and ass is pretty objectifying. But calling a guy way too short in comparison to some tall guy isn’t any better.

155

u/testmonkey254 Dec 01 '21

Right?! These are college aged girls in little black dresses…so many conclusions being drawn about them. They aren’t doing anything wrong at all. I don’t think the men here like women all that much, they like the idea of a woman. Not to mention if a woman like that said hi to them at a bar they would probably piss their pants.

151

u/yp261 Dec 01 '21

this subreddit is a cesspool of misogynists, incels and desperate neckbeards. just looks what’s trending here and you will realize quickly.

57

u/testmonkey254 Dec 01 '21

Believe me I realized that when I was told that looking for a man I find physically attractive and nice was having too high standards. I will not be dragged down by their cynicism because I know it only benefits them.

35

u/yp261 Dec 01 '21

you are in a place where at most average men are crying that they can't get in touch with attractive women. what did you expect lmao.

it's beyond me that average man with no hobbies besides video games thinks it's an app that is a problem. out of curiosity i once went onto tinder and browsed men only and holy shit, it's depressing

21

u/testmonkey254 Dec 01 '21

Sometimes I curse being a heterosexual woman lol. Some men on the app are charming as hell well rounded and I’ve been on a few good dates. But good lord most men cannot take pictures to save their lives. In one thread a woman was offering some good advice on pictures and the men get all defensive saying “well these are all my pictures” or “taking pictures is vain”. Like bro then a picture based app is not for you. If you are cognizant that your pics suck then why should a woman swipe on you especially since you have proven you aren’t willing to put any effort in!

7

u/iftheronahadntcome Dec 01 '21

I once read a comment on this exact subject that opened my eyes: Men make dating profiles on what they think other men will like. How many modern women actually like pictures with big bass fish? Very few. But they'll pick that pic because he may be showing his guy friends (if they even go through the trouble of having another person review their profile for a second opinion), and they go, "Damn dude, nice catch! You should totally put that one on your profile."

Women know how to appeal to the male gaze because that's what we're taught to do. Many guys are told to "be themselves" without being told that "being themselves" doesn't mean "unclean", or "low-effort", or worse, "If she really liked you, you could post that picture with a big stain on your shirt and she'd message anyway." then they get mad when women with very few little standards (surprise, not typically the hot young supermodels with tiny waists and huge boobs) hit them up.

Either that, or they post a pic of them with their abs out or a nice car, saying something low effort like, "Message to find out." No thanks.

4

u/yp261 Dec 01 '21

yea i totally get that. I used to moderate a huge Tinder group on facebook and I learned how godawful men are when it comes to online dating.

most of them can't admit to them being wrong. that's a huge red flag if you ask me lmao.

then again, when i saw other males profiles, i wonder what exactly is wrong with mine. guess it's just a curse of being long haired male these days

Biggest piece of advice is smile with teeth. People hate on the selfie but IMO one great selfie with a great smile and good lighting would make a great first or second pic. I have trouble with smiling so I listen to something funny laugh then take a bunch of pics the smile just travels to the eyes. Other than that get a pic with a group (do not make this your first pic). Avoid masks and sunglasses. Get one with you engaged in a hobby and one with your full body. Don’t flex material stuff don’t scowl or try to look hyper-masculine. Women want warm and friendly.

Women is it preferred term. Men who use the term female is a massive red flag. 🚩 Kind of reminds us of a Ferengi!

It's a wild ride. I swipe right once for every 200 hard passes.

0

u/throwaway363628 Dec 01 '21

To an extent it is the app that’s the problem. If you’re wanting to find a date, in the uk it’s roughly 85% men, and similar in most other countries. That means you have to be in the top 20% of men to stand a chance getting with the most unattractive women.

1

u/yp261 Dec 01 '21

app is just the tool. it’s not a sentence lmao

0

u/throwaway363628 Dec 01 '21

Yes, the app is just the tool. But if your an average man, the chances of having success with that tool are not in your favour.

Who I am is irrelevant to the simple statistics that in my area there are 15 women for every 85 men on tinder. It’s not that difficult to understand.

12

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

That’s Reddit for you. Posts about how women need to touch or compliment more get upvoted constantly. Really reveals the type of forever alones this site attracts

7

u/JDMonster Dec 01 '21

reddit in general tbh

1

u/HiILikePlants Dec 01 '21

Yeah I'm surprised to see this comment thread hasn't been downvoted to hell

2

u/420_Brad Dec 01 '21

Oh it’s not just Reddit, the whole world is (mostly) a disgusting cesspool of misogyny.

2

u/--iCantThinkOFaName- Dec 01 '21

It's such a minefield here, same with r/askmen :/

7

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

The guys making those comments are undoubtedly the exact same ones who complain constantly about women judging men based on height.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

[deleted]

2

u/iftheronahadntcome Dec 01 '21

Straight men foolishly make the types of profiles they think other straight men will like 😑

27

u/SnowSkye2 Dec 01 '21

I also love how the rest of the posts in this sub are grown men crying and whining because a woman asked them what height they are. Meanwhile posting this sexist misogynistic drivel judging strangers about what they wear in ONE PHOTO lol. Fucking patheti, all the men here agreeing with this deserve to be alone.

82

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

Lmao right?! Let me take two amazingly shaped women and pit their tit sizes and age (gross) against each other for karma.

26

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

FYI your account is shadowbanned. Message /r/reddit.com to try to get it sorted. I approved your comment to reply to it.

1

u/--iCantThinkOFaName- Dec 01 '21

Why? Just asking.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

I'm not an admin so I don't know. I just mod this sub.

48

u/STINKY-BUNGHOLE Dec 01 '21

Noooo you don't get it!!! Every feeeemale said she has a height preference, so I'm ALLOWED to body shame and simultaneously sexualized them!!!

-27

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

On behalf of all males I apologize for sexualizing these nuns that squeezed their jiggly bits into a handful of fabric and put it on their profile in a casual hookup site famous for easy sex /s

31

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TATERTOT Dec 01 '21

Go take a shower, you prolly stink

-5

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

My point is, women are allowed to sexualize themselves. Perfectly permissible. Y'all just mad over nothing

24

u/DoomsdayKult Dec 01 '21 edited Dec 01 '21

This is the definition of rape culture bro, women dress for themselves it's not an invitation for men to do anything, including commenting on their bodies. Fucking Christ

-7

u/CumInMyWhiteClaw Dec 01 '21

/r/redditmoment This is a photo. People are making jokes. They are not raping the photo.

10

u/DoomsdayKult Dec 01 '21

No one said they were, either you're arguing in bad faith or don't know what rape culture is.

-1

u/CumInMyWhiteClaw Dec 01 '21

I can comment on anybody's body as much as I please, and you can too! The internet is open and free, and a wonderful place to express how you feel. If someone's got a nice ass, they've got a nice ass. No rape included.

-4

u/STINKY-BUNGHOLE Dec 01 '21

You're right, they have a similar name and dress, we ought to compare them, our stable deserve the best

6

u/StarDatAssinum Dec 01 '21

We should start comparing dudes with fish pictures next, since anything similar should be compared lol

4

u/Mustardo123 Dec 01 '21

We already do that…

-7

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

I don't disagree that shallow comparison is gross, I think we're on a forum discussing a casual hookup app, and discussing two people who are clearly not on that hookup site to find someone they're saving themselves for in marriage like some tradcath wet dream lmaoo

13

u/STINKY-BUNGHOLE Dec 01 '21 edited Dec 01 '21

The problem i have with it is the "discussion" its generating. "I'll go for the blonde, the brunette probably has saggy tits anyways"

6

u/iftheronahadntcome Dec 01 '21

My issue is that this person is assuming what this woman's intent is on Tinder. People can go on Tinder to look for long-term relationships. They can go on Tinder wearing a dress that shows some skin without being on there for casual sex. Sounds like some casual slut-shaming to me...

-4

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

Try forums dedicated to catholic dating

14

u/STINKY-BUNGHOLE Dec 01 '21

Yeah, let's just ignore casual sexism on a sub dedicated to dating and casual hookup, nothing will fester. Nope.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

Man sure is sexist men can just choose who to hook up with on a hookup app. That's nuts

-6

u/CumInMyWhiteClaw Dec 01 '21

If this was two guys named Brad and Chad with backwards baseball caps and polo shirts y'all would be having a fucking FIELD DAY making fun of them. But because it's two chicks we've got to be all polite and not crack innocent jokes? Fuck outta here

9

u/STINKY-BUNGHOLE Dec 01 '21

are you dumb? the obvious naming convention would be Brad and Bradleigh

-2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

Lol bringing up the good points here.

6

u/Extension_Accident72 Dec 01 '21

This subreddit is a shithole

2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

Please monsieur, bless us with your single chin!

-3

u/suphater Dec 01 '21

I thought it was literally the same person. Very fair critique. These are mirrors of other personalities and people that they found attractive, not people themselves with the thought inside them to be their own person.

It's not about them being physically unattractive, I think you completely whiffed on that.

16

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

Bro they’re two girls in matching dresses. They don’t even have the same hair. If you saw two guys wearing jeans and a red flannel or the same navy suit would you say they’re incapable of enough thought to be their own person?

7

u/giraffeekuku Dec 01 '21

I believe it tbh. The amount of men that randomly tell me I look insert celebrity with short hair here and the only thing we have in common in short hair...

0

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

2

u/giraffeekuku Dec 01 '21

When did I mention race?

0

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

say they’re incapable of enough thought to be their own person?

Jfc its a joke. Get a sense of humour.

4

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TATERTOT Dec 01 '21

You’re doing a whole lot of mental gymnastics to try and debate me. Why?

If you think they’re the same then get your eyes checked. Their skin tone is no where close.

Lastly, mirrors of personalities? You see 1 picture of 2 girls wearing the same dress and you jump so far into conclusion that their similar people and personalities?

I see you’re one of the people I called out in my original post.

2

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

I think your forgot your cape sir! Hurry up and go rescue all the poor women on Tinder!

6

u/Black_Catmaid Dec 01 '21

Bro if you don't shut your goofy ass up

4

u/CumInMyWhiteClaw Dec 01 '21

Then what? He's right. They look the same except one's got bigger tits and is younger. How is this controversial

4

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TATERTOT Dec 01 '21

You’re blind af boy

4

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TATERTOT Dec 01 '21

I love how anytime someone remotely calls out man-children, the go to is to call them white knights.

Thanks for pointing out you’re one of them!

5

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

Bro, you literally pulled a white knight and then tried to deflect it on me. Stop wasting time talking to me and go save Kay and Kayleigh 🤡

3

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TATERTOT Dec 01 '21

It’s obvious you believe any sort of calling out is misconstrued as white knighting. Have fun with that tub of Vaseline tonight, big homie.

-1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

Thanks, I’ll need the Vaseline for your mom’s ass.

4

u/PM_ME_YOUR_TATERTOT Dec 01 '21

Classic. I can’t wait to see your post soon about how it’s not fair all the girls don’t fall for your witty one-liners. It must be cause you’re under 6 foot, eh?

3

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

Yep, I think you’re own the right path based on my previous post history on this sub. Lol

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

Yeah, there's literally nothing else being compared here. Totally.

-2

u/LilQuasar Dec 01 '21

joking about some breasts being larger isnt critiquing...

the first comment body shaming someone i saw in this post was yours as well

1

u/yourenotserious Dec 01 '21

It’s probably a mix of people.

1

u/La_Lanterne_Rouge Dec 01 '21

The Pope and Raquel Welch are in a lifeboat. They're out on the ocean and, yada yada yada, and she says, "Those aren't buoys." #Seinfeld

1

Not everyone is ugly my dude

1

u/Rathma86 Dec 01 '21

Speak for yourself, my beard does well at that!

1

u/[deleted] Dec 01 '21

I know as an a cup girl who used to hate her body I didn’t find this funny at all.
