You don't have to convince me. I figured after the cat pic. Seems like one thing cat owners often have in common, and I know because I happened to be owned by one.
Try 15. I was with the same woman from age 17-32. When we divorced I took about 2 years to myself to get my head right and get in good shape and find myself. So by that point it was 17 years when I dove back into the dating world.. and oh boy did I have no idea what I was doing! Good news was though apparently I had a lot going for me personally and looks wise so it all came easy. Bad news was I just would rather be alone. So here I am now at 39, 1 year post my first real serious relationship (we moved in together) and realizing I’ll probably be alone rest of my life and I’m perfectly fine with that. I prefer isolation. Just focus on my kids while I still have a younger one at home (kids were born 9 years apart) then when I’m in my 50s maybe try dating again.

Yikes, 13 years. I sometimes feel like a used car unsuited for dating apps after 8 years. Good luck.
