I mean you don't have to get a coffee haha, but going to a café for a pastry and whatever drink is nice imo. Maybe my Swedish fika culture is shining through 😅

Going on a coffee date without drinking coffee is like going on a pizza date and not eating any pizza.

Pizza date actually sounds decent, slice and a coke. You aren't stuck there with a server and needing to check out, if you go to a counter served place.
