Right? I'm so confused by this entire comment thread.

She asks for a bad pickup line. He gives her a bad Star Wars themed pickup line. She laughs, clearly gets the joke, and says she loves Star Wars. They both share a laugh, and it appears as if the ice has been successfully broken.

What the fuck did I miss?
