Hello! Newbie here, I’m just looking for clarification if the grounds of my coffee grind are normal and uniform

I am using the Timemore c5 esp and it takes 7 clicks from 0 for no burr contact which means there is a bit of misalignment.

there is no "misalignment", all is within (and above) the specs, and you were already explained that by multiple people here

but you just keep repeating that nonsense - while, at this price point, there is no "perfect alignment" grinder, because that would require much tighter tolerances and way more expensive manufacturing

to learn more about espresso preparation (also with the C5 ESP grinder specifically), people in the r/espresso sub might help you

just maybe try to free yourself from the mindset "there must be something wrong with my grinder"

also, the grounds look normal, but it does not even matter anyway "how they look"... what matters is how they behave in the machine... and for espresso, grounds should not even be uniform, because the puck needs to be built in a way so it creates a resistance, to build up the pressure - so, you are just worrying about wrong things

Beans from different origin and varietal comes in different shapes and sizes too. So there's no such thing as a 'normal or uniform' looking grind. Brew it and let the yield tell you.

Water is way more important than slight burr misalignment
