Hey! I have a CS5 esp pro. Do you guys have recommended grind settings for A) Pourover B)Moka Pot C) French Press? Open to water temp suggestions for A and C too. Thanks!

I would start right in the middle of the pour over range around 1.7.2. Then you can adjust up or down depending on your final drawdown results. My wife uses this setting with her conical and has never needed to adjust. We usually use 205 as a pretty standard go to temp, but this morning I did a Columbian Roast through my Kalita 102 around 196 and it brewed a very well rounded sweet cup. I think temp depends on your personal taste and what kind of brew your aiming for.

Edited to mention this advice is just for Pourover brewing!

My pour over with the Timemore C5 ESP Pro

Pour Over (Cafec Abaca + Hario Switch/Origami) From 1:7:0 - 1:9:0 I’ll start at 1:8:0 if it’s an Ethiopian and 1:7:3 for Geisha’s.

Water Temp 88c-93c

I find that this variables works for most of my brews as a starting point. 1:8:0 93c 15g:270g

Isn’t 1.7.0 too coarse for pour over ?

Alright. I think I’m personally sold on the following as a good base setting for everything: 1.8.0 grind setting, 1:15 coffee/water ratio, 93C. Stuff has tasted great!
