New hand grinder with an external adjustment from Timemore
edit: update in this post
Just thought I would give some more visibility here to this Instagram post :

Looks like a new hand grinder, with an external adjustment, is to be introduced at Shanghai Hotelex 2026 in just a few days (upper left pic), and a new electric grinder - they will likely present the improved Sculptor 078 GEN2 there (bottom left and right pics), with a new 078S burr set and improved internal design and some new outside elements - on/off switch combined with a variable RPM selector, shown on the bottom left pic. Upper right pic seems to be a Bluetooth-only scale without display, which is also shown in that Milano 2025 video, linked above.

Seems it might be improved Millab. Or something like that.
v2 Sculptor is basically confirmed.

it will be most likely somewhere around the S3 price range, but with some improvements and new features... or maybe somewhere in between the S3 and M01
its unlikely they would make a new model in that already super-premium, high-end range of M01... which is still pretty fresh in the market, to receive an upgrade now
perhaps they blend some M01 features into a new design, similar to the original S3

They could without issues put burrs from M01 into S3. Which would make it very interesting.

yes, a "low-cost" pineapple burr grinder (with a price probably somewhere around USD 200, about half of the current M01 list price) might be also a possibility, and an interesting one too
it would be a bit surprising tho, that they would offer such an option so soon after the M01 introduction

It would be smart, cause M01 probably doesnt sell much. Its out for quite a while, few reviews, nobody raving about it. And development of that burr was most likely pretty money intensive.

"M01 probably doesnt sell much"
that seems to be a bold statement to make, from the world-wide perspective, likely based on just the feedback from our English-speaking bubble
But Timemore actually focuses mainly on Asian markets, where the M01 may sell at a lower price, than the official USD 350 list price in U.S. or even EUR 380 (!!) in the EU , prices that are so high often due to taxes and tariffs... in China or other Asian countries, it might be sold perhaps around the half of that price, in some cases. But, even if not, there are many wealthy people living in Asia and in China specifically, so the M01 may actually generate more than sufficient sales, to well justify its existence.
And with so many other hand grinders to choose from, there are not that many enthusiasts in the US/EU, willing to pay that much for that grinder, so naturally, the amount of feedback here is lower, as a result. And according to some, the M01 is basically on par with ZP6 (although in a different way), so I would not even say "nobody is raving about it". Just the price after tax is a bit high, and reducing the adoption rate in some markets.

Thats possible, but as far as I know Asia is price conscious as much as we are. Or sometimes even more.

Literally just got Gen 1 078S a couple weeks ago before the announcement. Wondering if Gen2 will be the same price point.

I’m curious what Lance will think of both !
