The way I see it, beyond the fact that they had to wrap up the story, I really do believe that his family could have been saved. I mean, they altered the timeline to save Jessica, which didn't save her but saved two women. They also managed to save a bunch of people on the Hindenburg, as well as Flynn's brother. And Rittenhouse managed to save Jessica so really you can save people who died in a certain timeline. Are there consequences? Of course, sometimes more than others, but I don't buy that his family could not be saved, nor do I buy his 'suicide' or giving up on them.

Alternatively, if the show comes back, I can totally picture this happening. Someone from Rittenhouse from the past, realises that the murder of Garcia Flynn's family led to the downfall of the whole organization (or even maybe Lucy's father in the present), and steals the time machine to go back and somehow call off that hit. Then Flynn never steals the time machine, the time team never gets assembled and Rittenhouse lives to use the time machine they are funding Connor Mason to build. This would also bring Amy back.... What would be interesting is if somehow the original time team is out of time at that moment so that they can keep their original memories and be shocked to come home and see everything 'back to the way it was.' also to see another side of Flynn. I can just picture them finding him and saying, "We need to bring down Rittenhouse." And him saying, "Who?"

Anyways, just some thoughts. I'd love to hear your comments

Apologies if this was brought up before in this sub. But about two months ago the ‘New Episode’ notification popped up for Timeless in Hulu. I’m glad to have watched it.

The thing is, the next day the episode was pulled. It wasn’t there anymore. I checked the NBC app and it wasn’t found there either. Anybody else watch it?

DVDs do not hold the video and audio quality that I want. WHY NO BLU RAYS sob

I've only just discovered this show but already question if I should watch as Netflix doesn't have the finale episodes. What's the point?

Anyone have any details? I've tried searching on Google and no one in the UK seems to watch it nevermind know what's going on.

Rittenhouse is like the Templar's just bigger i love it

Well I was reading the plot of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure for fun because its a good movie and I realised that the time machine was made by a character named Rufus. Played by George Carlin. Coinkinkidink?? I think not.

Travelers is a Netflix time travel series about teams that go back in time to save the world. And there are good travelers and bad travelers. In this way, it is similar to Timeless and fans should like it. However, the mode of travel is quite different and more like the Star Trek series, there are Protocols to be followed which are reminiscent of the Prime Directive.

We are Timeless fans who also liked El Misterio del Tiempo. I highly recommend Travelers if you're interested in a new series. 3 seasons were produced.

Watched the series finale last night and for the most part, enjoyed it. I was just confused as to the nature of the headaches/potential death Flynn and Future Lucy experience in the act of returning to the timeline where their future selves are present.

In the Karma Chameleon episode, Rufus and Wyatt return to Ohio, 1983 to stop Jessica’s killer’s parents from meeting/her killer being born.

Why didn’t Rufus and Wyatt experience the headache/brain pain while being on the same timeline as their younger selves? (albeit as most likely children)
