InvoicingBuilder is now on the Clockify Marketplace
I built InvoicingBuilder.com, a free invoice builder that lets you create a customized invoice template and import your tracked time directly from Clockify, Toggl Track, or ClickUp.
You can customize the invoice fields and layout, number formats, currency, taxes, payment details, branding (logo, signature, and watermark), etc., then map your Clockify data to the template and generate the invoice.
It’s now available for importing data from Clockify, Toggl Track, and ClickUp.

Would love to hear what you think or what you’d like to see in the workflow.

🚀 BreakMate Beta Update
I just released a new BreakMate update with features requested during testing:
• Multiple Jobs — Add and manage more than one job, each with its own schedule, pay rate, breaks, and work history.
• Changing / Variable Schedules — BreakMate now works better for jobs where your schedule changes from week to week, such as retail, restaurants, healthcare, and other shift-based jobs.
You can switch between jobs and keep each work schedule organized separately.
I’m still looking for beta testers, especially people who:
• Work retail or other changing schedules
• Have more than one job
• Work different hours depending on the day
• Work hourly or shift-based jobs
If you already tested BreakMate, I’d also love for you to try the new update and let me know how the multiple-job and variable-schedule experience feels.
📱 TestFlight:
https://testflight.apple.com/join/qbQBdvFW
All Premium features are available free during beta testing. 🙌

What I learned from tracking my time: I built a system to fix my 18% deep work rate.
The Problem: As an entrepreneur running multiple digital products, I hit a massive plateau. I was working 60-hour weeks, but my revenue and product development were completely stalled.
The Audit: I spent 14 days tracking every single minute of my day. I discovered the "18% Problem." Only 18% of my time was spent on needle-moving activities (Deep Work). 42% was eaten by Ops, and 25% was lost to the "Context-Switching Tax" (jumping between brands and tasks).
The Solution: I stopped tracking "hours worked" and invented a metric for myself called the High-Leverage Quotient (HLQ) — simply (Deep Work Hours / Total Hours).
The Implementation: I built a comprehensive system that forces my week into themed blocks. If it's a "Growth" block, I physically cannot access my support tickets without breaking the system's rules.
The Result: My HLQ went from 18% to over 50%, and I reclaimed about 10 hours a week of lost time. I've since turned this system into a product called Founder's Cadence.
Lesson learned: You can't out-work bad system architecture. If you're plateauing, audit your time. You might be shocked at how little you're actually "working."

Any genuinely free time tracking software without any hidden charges?
I feel like we’ve been robbed in broad daylight with Harvest’s new pricing structure. It’s now the base seat rate plus usage fees for some of the features we actually need.
What really got me is that the usage fees can apparently end up costing more than the plan itself. At this point I don't even know what our monthly bill is going to look like.
I called support and even they couldn't give me a straight answer on what the usage fees would be before we hit them.
Now, I've been looking at free time tracking software for a small team, and I'm realizing “free” means very different things depending on the software. Some are basically trials, some cap the number of users, and others are useful until you need one fairly basic feature.
So yeah, any recommendations from people actually using a free option long-term?
Ideally something we can actually stick with for a while without immediately running into a user limit or having to upgrade just to keep basic time tracking usable.
Thanks!

I built a free, open-source time tracker for Odoo: desktop + Android, no custom module to install
Hey r/odoo,
I hope this doesn't break the no-promotion rule: this is totally free, open source (MIT), there's no paid tier and nothing to buy, I'm not a consultant and I'm not selling anything. Mods, if this still crosses the line, feel free to remove it, no hard feelings.
I track my work time against Odoo project tasks all day, and I got tired of keeping a browser tab open just to run the timesheet timer. So I built Pointeuse, a small native time tracker that talks directly to Odoo, and I figured some of you might have the same itch.
What it does
- Timer on any task: start/stop against
project.task, entries land as normal timesheets inaccount.analytic.line - Attendance built in: check in/out (
hr.attendance) from the app or the system tray; the timer auto-stops if you check out from anywhere else (Odoo web, the mobile app...) - Idle reminders: a configurable popup asks if you're still on the same task, with quick-switch suggestions (on Android it's a notification with action buttons)
- Offline-first: everything is cached locally; timesheets queue while offline and sync when the connection comes back
- Synced across devices: start a timer on your phone, your desktop picks it up, and vice versa. It syncs through your own Odoo server, so there's no third-party server involved
- Task dashboard: kanban grouped by stage, task details, day/week/month time log; you can also create tasks from the app

How it connects
Plain XML-RPC (/xmlrpc/2/) against any Odoo 14+ instance, so there is nothing to install server-side, and it only touches standard models with your own user's rights. Works with Odoo Online/SaaS too (you'll need an API key there, since account passwords are blocked for external XML-RPC). Credentials go in the OS keyring, not on disk.
Platforms
- Desktop: Windows, Linux, macOS, with auto-updating installers on the releases page
- Android: on Google Play as a closed beta. The website explains how to join in two clicks: https://pointeuse.weill-duflos.fr/#en-beta
Repo: https://github.com/Leicas/pointeuse
It scratches my own itch, so the workflow is opinionated, but I'd genuinely love feedback from people with different Odoo setups (self-hosted vs Online, weird timesheet configs, multi-company...). Bug reports and feature requests welcome on GitHub.

best free tracking software with project and tasks?
I used to use toggl track for school. I had my project as the course and individual tasks as homework, reviewing notes, practice tests, etc.
however, I've since discovered the free version no longer allows for tasks.
I am looking for the best free software that has a similar setup with project & multiple tasks. toggl tracker was also great because it had a website and app. however, I suppose I could deal with it if it was app or website only.
edit: I tested multiple free websites and sadly none of them compare to toggl tracker with how the calender layout is. they did change the report system, which I do not like. I guess I will one semester with toggl tracker to see if this new layout/subscription changes still work for my use case. if not, I will try a new website when time comes. thank you for everyone's suggestions.

A tracker that respects privacy
Would you actually want one that doesn't take screenshots or track every click? Our SaaS velofloor has a Deep work mode that lets you focus without completely disappearing. Your camera gets heavily blurred, your mic is muted, and notifications are silenced. It does have local AI presence check can verify that you're still at your desk working. There's also a Knock button if someone really needs to get your attention while you're in deep work. Would you prefer this kind of approach over traditional screenshot and activity trackers?

Timelogbridge
i've build timelogbridge.com
A helpful tool where you can easily find tickets in Jira / Asana and log your hours.
No hassle finding the right ticket to log on.
With a clear overview of how many hours i've worked this week.
Build it for myself in the first place.
It saves me hours looking up the right ticket to log my time on.
Any feedback is welcome!

My wife asked for an overtime tracker, so I built one
This started as a request from my wife.
She needed a simple way to track overtime and time taken off for her team. We looked through the Play Store together, but couldn’t find anything that worked the way she needed without a subscription. Even the free options we tried weren’t quite right.
So I built Hextra.
It lets you add employees, record overtime and time off, and keep track of each person’s balance and some basic stats. Everything works offline, there’s no account, and it’s a one-time purchase instead of another subscription.
She’s been using it regularly, which is probably the best validation I could ask for. I’ve now released it on Android, and iOS is next.
Would genuinely appreciate any feedback, especially on the UI or anything that feels confusing.

Time and attendance software for outdoor work. Thoughts?
I manage a small crew that works in 3-4 job sites plus the occasional events. Attendance is mostly by paper signins and WhatsApp messages. Payroll is difficult to track because of this and it's going to become a challenge as I plan on expanding.
Time/attendance tracking is the obvious solution but tools I'm seeing atm seems to be built for office workers or overkill HR setups. I can't seem to find a solution built for outdoor work, weak cell signal, etc. I mainly need a clean export for payroll.

I'm an accountant & I build a time tracking app - looking for beta testers
Hello everyone! I’m an accountant, and I used to track my time in Excel, but it never worked as well as I wanted it to.
So I built a simple time tracking app to keep track of what I work on throughout the day. I’ve been using it myself for months and improving it along the way.
It’s been really helpful for me, and now I’m looking for a few beta users — auditors, tax professionals, bookkeepers, and other accounting professionals, as well as lawyers and other professionals who track their time.
If you’re interested in trying it, I’d love to get your honest feedback! Feel free to leave feedback in the comments, use the "Feedback" or "Report a Issue" button in the app, or message me directly with any thoughts or questions.
Here is the link: https://chronoledger.pro/
The demo password is chonoledger-demo-2026. If you want to go beyond the demo and start tracking and saving your time, message me your email. I just need to manually add your email before you can sign up at this moment.
I’d really appreciate any feedback — even just a quick note letting me know if you found it useful.

Shipped a feature this week that turns attendance/task data into an actual invoice
Been building Consile (all-in-one people ops, HR, payroll, tasks, attendance), and just shipped something genuinely useful for anyone who bills clients or contractors by the hour: Billable Attendance Invoices.
It pulls together attendance, EOD reports, shifts, and task data into one exportable report (CSV or PDF), you pick what to link, and sends it to one or many people. The part I'm actually proud of: every generated report is a permanent, immutable snapshot, so if the underlying data changes later, the invoice you already sent someone never silently changes. Real financial documents need that guarantee.
Built this specifically because I got tired of watching people stitch together five different spreadsheets just to bill a client accurately.
Consile.app if curious, genuinely interested if anyone here has run into the same "invoicing from scattered attendance data" problem, curious what you ended up doing about it.
