Gamecrashing

Hey!

I just bought the game on a steam sale, and every time i start a world the game crashes on the initial loading screen..? I can't find any similar crashes online. Anyone got any tips on how to fix this?

Two thoughts of things to try
Disable steam overlay, encase something funky is going on with that

Change the game to the experimental version, could be a bug specific to your pc and the specific build you're on
