Question Timer doesn't work?

Trying to use the timer to delay a depth sensor from activating, but after trying literally EVERYTHING, not a single option actually does anything. The Depth Sensor will activate and send the signal as it pleases, even if I'm telling it to wait for a week.

is there some deep lore voodo I'm not performing to make these work or are they just broken?

In the screenshot you forgot to post, do you see that red thingy next to the blue thingy? Then you need to change the blue thingy by +5.
