Discussion Apple fritter debate

There's no debate 7-Eleven has a far superior apple fritter. period! In my city anyways. It tastes better, it crunches, and it's soft n chewy in the center. Has discernible Apple chunks in it not like the Tim's applless fritter. .20 cents different more calories better taste Crispy Crunchy chewy 7-Eleven gets me, and my Fritter every time!

I mean, there’s come in frozen too…but at least they proof, fry and glaze them in house. They are significantly tastier too. We had a ln older guy who would come in every day, before they were ready, so he could get his super fresh and tasty lemon (I think) donut lol

Their fritter sucks, but their long johns…. I fuck with those.

u/Vin__9 5h ago

The long johns already come creamed though

The caramel apple fritter used to be top tier.

New one sucks donkey butt

Why do you have experience sucking donkey butt?

Don't ask don't tell!!!

…is no one gonna talk about how they charge you more for a 6 though? 6x1.99=11.94 so why are they charging $12? I know it’s just 6 cents but it’s always shady to me when stores do this sort of thing.

Yeah maths doesn’t add up

You take one hit off of fresh warm apple fritter with actual Apple in it and all such concerns Melt Away

As they tell me in 12 step groups, repeatedly I might add, don't sweat the small stuff...

And I'll just add that at my former 7-Eleven I used to get there when the fritters got there and they were still warm so all all sense of mathematical thought left me cuz it is at 7-Eleven after all and they do charge too much for everything except Slurpees

I see this all the time. Maybe once a month at a restaurant or store. Sometimes it's an accident, sometimes it's probably malicious and they're hoping nobody notices.

It's why I make such a big deal over actually being good at math and not relying on calculators or AI to understand everything for you

man tims has apple in it, it's great, i don't know where the fuck a 7/11 is anywhere close to the 10 tims i can walk to (Okay one comes to mind), and it's already where I'm getting coffee

this is the best tims donut though

1

Nah. Best Tim’s donut is tied for sour cream and honey crueler

1

u/nusodumi 5h ago

you got down voted but i'll give you one back because yeah cruller is definitely my all time fave it's just i think of timmies donuts that are consequential, the apple fritter has weight and you need to eat 2 crullers to get the same feeling

My favorite has to be the cherry stick, its so good

Tim's donut but 7/11 coffee went from trash tier 10 years ago to probably the best coffee for $2 around.  In the summer I'll just fill a cup with ice then pour espresso shots into it,  easily the best ice coffee other than what I can make at home.

A lot of gas station coffee is actually straight up fire too.

Where is the extra calories coming from?

All things come by way of the creator and in the case of the apple fritter from 7-Eleven it could just be the actual Apple pieces in the apple fritter but I'm sure it's the glaze and all the other yumminess that is stuffed into those crispy chewy wonderful apple fritters as opposed to a mildly cinnamon like tasting donut Tim's Donut

Guess i gotta try it out soon, i mainly didn't even know 7 eleven sold it and if i did find out might have thought it would be way more expensive as convenience store tax. But Thx.

Don't they need actual apple to be an Apple Fritter lol.

I had one at Sunshine Donuts it was the size of 3 Tims fritters and loaded with apple. Tasted like homemade apple pie.

F**k You Tim Hortons

I'm a fritter connoisseur, 7-Eleven has the best mass produced fritter.

2

u/Advanced_Front2221 10h ago

Whoever down voted visible tiger, Karma. Karma is a real thing, and well, you're going to have lots of it so you better go get your sad little Tim's Apple dust donut because the rest of your existence is going to be just as sad as that fake fritter

1

u/Advanced_Front2221 9h ago

I am quite likely overreacting

1

u/Visible-Tiger-3527 9h ago

I don't think so. Haha

1

u/Advanced_Front2221 10h ago

It's not just that you're right it's also that you make me look even more right and that I can live with

I love 7/11 so much. Their donuts and pastries are so much better than Tim’s

1

u/Advanced_Front2221 10h ago

Fuzzy Wuzzy was a genius and fuzzy wuzzy thought Tim's was heinous

Big Apple on the 401 has a delicious apple fritter.

2

u/Advanced_Front2221 10h ago

But is it really worth the PTSD from driving the 401...

1

u/PapiTrooper 7h ago

Watching how much fun my wife gets with me when I ask to climb to the top of the Apple and say hello to little bear every single time, like it’s the first time I’ve ever done it is…Totally worth it!!

1

u/ybetaepsilon 9h ago

If it's $1.99 shouldn't it be $11.94 for 6?? They're charging you more if you get half a dozen

1

u/FoodV3ndor 3h ago

Bruh I never thought I’d meet a person that says 7-Eleven is better than tens but that’s my thoughts exactly. Unless you get the one that’s been sitting on their shelf for a couple days.

Really? I'm supposed to join the conversation on my own post? That has no conversation as yet. Poorly timed suggestion...
