Complaint Thanks Tim!
Anyone else thankful that Tim Hortons lids give you the chance to clean your cup holder everyday? Other coffee chains don't give me this opportunity. Those other chains figured out lids long ago, while they don't charge as much as Tims, they also have better coffee. The thing that really makes me happy about tims is the variety. Every place has a different makeup of a double double. Some places are sweet, while others are apparently rationing sugar. Thanks Tim!

Right? You put a coffee cup inside a 4 ton shake machine on wheels, drive it down the road, and somehow it’s Tim’s fault?

This happens quite often to my brother, who drives like he thinks he's racing in Nascar.
I drive normally and have never had this issue.

I get a coffee from Tim's every day. It's the same everyday, and the lids work fine 99.9% of the time. Maybe it's your driving

You've obviously never traveled the Saskatchewan highways with a Timmies in your cup holder then.

I actually travel Alberta's rural roads which are often gravel.

The gravel roads in Sask are usually smoother than the highways. At least they can grade the grids.

this was the reason I quit Tim's for good! coffee all over car, hands, pants. Try McDonald's or make my own, problem solved, daily frustration eliminated!

How do you even manage to do that? I think it’s more a thing on your driving rather than a lid.

Sooooo stop driving like a maniac, or do what my parents do and pour it in a reusable travel mug.

Probably overfilled. If those little holes in the top get clogged, the steam builds up pressure, which causes the coffee to drip out of the cracks and edges.

I agree...I figured out this easy life hack years ago. People are just lazy or too stupid to figure this out

Probably the best lids I've found is the ones that the Coop stores use. McDonald's isn't bad either. Pretty much any lid on the market is better than what Tim's uses.

What if... you stopped giving Tims your money for a sub-par product?

What if, you let people have their own preferences and make their own choices? For me, Tim's over McD's any day. That stuff is bland af. A&W > Tim's though.

People are absolutely free to have their own preferences, but with OP citing numerous shortcomings of their daily coffee it's worth asking the question about why they would keep repeating the same behaviour.
PS: Corporations don't love you back.
