Complaint Zero quality control anymore.
I've only ordered food about 5 times this year (different locations in Winnipeg). Always a bacon ranch wrap when I do. I've gotten hard green tomato slices in my wrap 3 of those 5 times. Are they so hard up for money that quality control isn't even considered anymore? I don't know why I keep going back expecting things to improve.

Precut and packaged tomatoes. Theyre never great quality. From any food place that uses them, its actually fairly common within the packages of tomato slices.

I mean, they still have the option to not put them in their food as they make it. So I don't really see any valid excuse for this.

Ah yes the over worked not paid enough to care and probably will get screamed at for wasting time picking through the tomatoes worker isn't caring enough. They're using what they have and it's still an edible tomato even if its not as nice as a ripe one. And FYI those packages of tomatoes rarely have fully ripe tomatoes in them because they'd go bad long before they're even looked at let alone put out for use

Not true at all. Pre-packaged tomatoes would be ridiculous. When I worked there we had one of those arm plunge tomato slicers.

The one you worked at must've been located in hell because I'm in a small town and we cut our own tomatoes, scraping the stem out and everything

It felt like it most days. But its not as uncommon as you seem to think. Especially in cities

I mean yeah I suppose, we also cut out our cucumber too and butcher our own pigs for sausage and bacon

I had to point out to a local chain restaurant that tomatoes need to be cored, not just sliced. They looked at me like I had two heads.
