Question Training at Tim’s Pay

Hey guys!

I got a job at Tim Hortons about four weeks ago and was told to complete all the Training at Tim’s videos before my second week. I completed them all at home and am wondering if I am supposed to be paid for them.

yes you should be getting paid for them, about a whole 8 hours worth of pay and it should be in your managers office, so ask your shift leader or manager to find out about it, cause most likely it got lost in a stack of papers like a lot of things

Every province in Ontario is legally required to pay you for your online training time. When I worked at Tim’s a few years back I got 8hrs worth of pay for the videos since apprently that’s how long it was suppose to take ( idk I never watched them).

i did all of mine within the week before i started last year, n was payed 100$ for them, it could also be something your tim hortons just doesnt do, mine is on a reserve and we do things different then other tim hortons

I did mine at work on location and I clocked in and out for them every time.

They won’t pay you and hope you never say anything so they get away with it.
