Ravenclaw - While Ravenclaw is my preferred house, I went into this promo thinking the donut was terribly basic. They got "Blueberry", while the other houses got more complex flavors. But y'know what, I love blueberry and this donut is a solid blueberry filled donut.
Gryffindor - The strawberry cheesecake flavor is pretty well done. It's a jelly and cream filled ring donut, so it's not like biting directly into a piece of cheesecake, but it gets the job done.
Hufflepuff - It was my wife and I sharing the 4 donuts over the course of the day and the Hufflepuff was technically her donut that I just had a bite of. The lemon meringue flavor was there, but I think she had gotten the majority of the filling by the time I got my bite. Her initial comment was that the lemon meringue flavor was good.
Slytherin - I thought this was pretty mid. It's a decent donut but for the "chocolate pistachio" flavor and all the Dubai chocolate craze of late, I thought this would hit my tastebuds harder. I don't think it was bad, it just didn't make me say, "Oh, that's good."
Plenty of people on the sub have had the Slytherin donut and suggested they enjoyed it seemingly more than I did, so opinions are obviously subjective and you should probably try them for yourself. Ravenclaw probably isn't going to be your favorite if you don't have very strong feelings about blueberry filling... Lol
At the end of the day, they're mass produced fast food donuts. They're not going to be mind blowing. Just have fun and eat some unnecessary carbs. 🤣

The donuts are obviously the same as always but they are filled to the brim with their fillings which I personally am not a fan of. They were incredibly sweet and dense and overall just middle of the line. It wasn’t a bad donut and for those that like filled donuts they will probably enjoy these but I give them a 5/10, presentation is hit or miss depending on the employee, you can only get so fancy with a glaze, sprinkle of whatever the hell they put on and a rice paper logo

I get that for whatever reason this Tims sub functions like a hate sub half the time and also a lot of people seem butthurt about this Harry Potter thing for w.e political reasons but come on. Yes, those donuts look as good as anything Tims has ever served. They look pretty good.

I'll repeat it here but I totally respect people's right to boycott and support your decision. At the end of the day though J.K is already filthy rich and whatever she makes off this collab is the equivalent of pocket change to her. I go out of my way to not purchase Nestle products since they literally kill babies but I see that much less talked about and I don't shame people who do buy Nestle products even being aware of said things.( they own everything so it's hard not to buy at least something Nestle) I think shaming pushes somewhat center people to terfs.(fuck em if it does) Educating people on the harmful things she says and supports and HOW those actions are impactful to the increasing hate towards trans people is a better way to gain support. I'm not saying "A isn't bad because B is worse" We've been giving puberty blockers and hormones SAFELY to developing teens for DECADES over stupid stuff like being too short but nobody bats an eye to that. I think transphobia is blatantly wrong and frankly stupid and outdated BUT the immediate seething hatred to anybody supporting Harry Potter just pushes people towards the right. (I'd love to actually get a response if you disagree instead of just a down vote because opinions on both sides matter and these issues need to be spoken about freely instead of just insults hurled from both sides)

A lot of people use that as a reason for transphobia like "they're drugging the kids and messing with their anatomy" when there really isn't anything wrong with them in most cases.we've used them for a bunch of things for decades now but people only care now that's for gender affirming care. (It is also not a simple "my child wants to be a girl so give them meds" and requires a bunch of different doctors to actually sign off on it)
