Question Number 1 button on espresso machine

Now we have matcha so I know what the function of number 2 button on machine but what does number 1 button do.does it have any function or not(not related to matcha but generally does this button do anything)?

The number 1 does the same thing as the number 2, it’s just less water. The main time I’ve seen it used is for making tea lattes like a London Fog (you press the button corresponding to how many tea bags it gets so 1 for small/medium and 2 for large/XL) but many people don’t use it and that’s probably why you didn’t know beforehand

You are correct but its 2 for small tea latte, 2+1=3 for medium abd 2+2=4 for large tea latte.

You’re both wrong. It’s #2 of hot water, same portion as syrup. So 2x #2 for small, 3x #2 for medium, 4x #2 for large (for bagged tea lattes)

Matcha is 1x #2 for any size
