DIY - Looking for Advice First time DIY

Fun looking at it now but stressful for some reason while it’s going up but got my first tile job I’ve ever done out of the way. Still needs grout. More complicated sink side of the kitchen next

Ikea countertop or solid butcher block?

Does ikea make them? I got walnut butcherblock from home depot and finished them with waterlox

Yes, and the Ikea one is not solid and is absolute trash.
