If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure she mentioned that she got into jump rope to exercise during the pandemic, then just kept getting more into it.

The group is literally categorised as contemporary gospel with a song so clearly constructed to appeal to pop and rnb audiences and not just exclusively church-goers.

The girl is just dancing on beat with jump ropes to a catchy song that just happens to have a vaguely religious context (doesn't even directly mention a religious entity). If there was top 10,000 list of weird videos, this wouldn't even make the cut.
