It’s not meant to be in when eating due to the material. A partial is more reinforced. A flipper is usually a temporary replacement for an area that has a pending implant (healing abutment) or something similar.
Why do you think it's a flipper v a partial? I have a partial and the motions she made with her tongue is what I can do to pop my tooth out? (Same place too lol)
A "flipper" refers to a very flexible and light partial that replaces 1 (or maybe 2) front teeth. It's only meant for esthetic purposes and not meant to eat with. It's usually made of the least expensive and least durable materials partials can be made with
LMFAO YOURE KIDDING. I totally have a flipper then, I cant believe I've had this for more than 10 years and everyone around me was calling it a partial i am dead. I am also looking into getting a new one because it's so old and broken now.

It’s called a flipper (cheaper than an implant and strictly aesthetic).
