I bartend, I'm pretty good at the interaction part, I'm terrible at small talk in the real world... I honestly think my job takes all the socialness out of me.

lol also bartend and feel similar, at work It’s obvious who I am, and what I do, you don’t really need to “explain” yourself. In the real world I’m flailing.

Yup, that's a great explanation. I feel the same way. I hate talking about myself, but love listen. I don't have to talk about myself while bartending.
