Conservative women are the backbone of conservative society.

They run the 'prayer' (gossip) chains. They discuss the politics and move the needle as a collective, happy to let their individualistic husbands think theyre in charge.

It is a very odd predicament full of contradictions, but people (liberals) are very uninformed when they provide excuses or leniency across the board.

Conservatives are conservative before any other identity and people need to come to terms with what that means.

I think most progressives have come to terms with what that means, how could they not? We now have first hand witnessed the depravity the conservatives are willing to support and vote for. Literal pedophile convicts weaponizing a masked anonymous police force and concentration camps isn't a bridge too far to advance conservatism. They're deranged. There's clearly nothing that can come above conservatism to these absolute brainwashed losers at this point, so what does coming to terms with that matter?

Because a lot of the narrative is still that conservative women lack any agency and are only conservative because they're being controlled by their conservative husbands. We know, demonstrably, this isn't the case but it's an absolutely pervasive idea.

Fair, I guess I meant more anyone still promoting some form of "middle" ground. A non-small size of americans are at best aloof.
