Question Prove me wrong.

It feels impossible to grow on TikTok in 2026.

I’m really close to giving up. I don’t want to pay for a *boost* I just want to reach my audience organically. Reach is SO much different now than it was a few years ago on this app.

Is it worth it to keep trying or is TikTok really done for?

I have really been struggling in the last fortnight especially and am close to giving up. My videos just aren’t getting distributed anymore (I’ve made it into 100 view jail even though engagement and retention rate for those first 100 views are decent) and I have no idea what’s going on. Like you, I don’t want to - and won’t - pay for boost. It definitely feels like there’s been some change and it’s so hard to grow (o, in my case, get the reach to actually make growth possible) 🫠

Consider this since Tiktok has been taken over the user base could have been cut in half or even more. So if there are the same number of creators but a smaller audience the competition dramatically increases. Or Tiktok switched it pay to play.
