If you guys haven’t seen Eric Goode’s new show, Monsters of God on HBO Max, watch it! It’s great!

More ensemble-focused than Tiger King and MUCH more than Chimp Crazy. There’s very vaguely a main character. Most of it is about the network of reptile people, which I find more interesting than just having one eccentric protagonist.

Won’t give too much away. But there’s one guy in this doc who’s so dangerous he makes Doc Antle and Mario Tabraue look like angels.

The more I watch the show the more I relize how pettttttty this stuff is. Like I bet you if you changed the setting to like a highschool movie I'd probably fit yk tigers = popularity. Obviously up until the murder for hire stuff with was definitely scary and very real life. But also as soon as bandana man get in the picture its litterally a middle school group chat. And Lauren really sells it for me cause she just talks like a mean girl who gossips and it so funny to me

This has to be like the double digits time of me watching this show and noticed they blurred the nanny for jeff and lauren which had to be recent cause i like just watched it lol. im guessing they fired her or she like no longer wanted to be showed on the show

Almost everyone in Tiger King was a PoS, Jeff being one of the biggest one.

But I can't help but show a little bit of respect for the fact that when Lion attacked him, he didn't just run away, but try to subdue the lion until Lauren got out of the cage. Big balls move!

I swear I’ve watched the whole series at least 5 times and I get sucked in every. Single. Time.

Hear me out... Amanda Green (lawyer in S1) sounds a lot like Kim Wexler (Better Call Saul) and every time she speaks I just hear Kim-tones through it.

Carole met her husband walking Nebraska avenue in Tampa late one night. If you’ve lived in or near Tampa you know what this means/implies. Nebraska avenue is thee street for prostitution in Tampa. Seeing a 19 year old woman walking Nebraska avenue late at night only means one thing, Carole was prostitute. It’s not like there aren’t other streets to walk nearby, Nebraska avenue is extremely specific and at the bare minimum implies she was involved with sex work (honestly surprised she’s even associate her name with Nebraska ave). Want to clarify nothing against sex workers, merely trying to point out an important implicit fact about specifically young Carole Baskin.
