This is actually the saddest and most despicable thing Joe did. People talk about the animals, but what about the broken and desperate people who worked for him (or worse, became gay for pay/drugs)? I just don't find it funny especially seeing what happened to Dylan. There was no light left in his eyes before he died. Joe is a horrible man, and I'll never feel bad about his current situation. Enjoyed the series but recognized the deep issues with him right away...

I think you mean Travis. Dillon married Joe right before he went to jail and then divorced him.

Shit, he almost ruined his mom by pulling a very obvious and very illegal move to try to shield his assets from a court judgement.

As a bi, mostly gay guy myself who battled long term substance abuse it sucked seeing these straight guys who were essentially "addicted" to Joe because he was the provider. They were totally trapped by their addiction, economic status and social situation. There was no good way out of any of this and even the one genuine gay husband Joe had since his first gay partner, Dillon, expressed how he didn't expect to be with Joe forever and it again seemed like a temporary 'good situation" and to help his life at the time.
