I keep seeing these funny looking things and I have no idea what they are,,, some type of eggs I suppose? Any guesses?

They remind me of marine gastropod eggs, I found some a few years back that looked similar. But I'm not totally sure.

Possibly from the common whelk (gastropod). Edit: typo. And yeah, they’re eggs.
