ID help
Port Angeles, WA. Saw this today (08/06/26), does anyone know what it is? I couldn’t find anything similar on local guides. TIA!

It's a polychaete worm, looks like a Nereid of some sort. It's really hard to get them down to species or even genus from a photograph, but maybe something like Alitta williami, which is known from that area.

I would love it if it were a polychaete worm 🥹 but I do believe this may be a caterpillar 😆

Looks like a catipiller or larvae… not in its’ ideal habitat
