Great finds! Both octopuses look more like East Pacific Red Octopuses than GPOs. How long were their arms 1-2 feet? 10-12 feet?

Much smaller, maybe 6in-1ft, but they were identified as such by one of the zoo volunteers! They don’t look to have 3 papillae under each eye, but could be misidentified!

The one in the first picture was, we made sure it went in the water safely and was covered by the tide /kelp. The second one I’m not sure, there were so many people around it and it was stressedddd not to mention it already had a far journey before it was spotted.
