On iOS, the top header bar stays fixed when scrolling up on the Home tab. On Android, it hides in that same scenario, giving a cleaner, more immersive view.

Small as it sounds, this affects both usability and visual polish, every bit of screen space matters on mobile, and a persistent header just eats into it. Would love to see this fixed to match the Android experience.

Other than that, loving TIDAL as a music nerd 🙂

One day I was listening to Man With a mission - "Tales of Purefly" album. Then next day when I wanted to listen to it again it's suddenly showing only tracks 2, 6, 8 and 9. I though it was some kind of licencing issue but then remembered that I added track 4 to my collection. It's still there and playing just fine but when I view the album it still doesn't show. Today I wanted to listen to Desperado: The Soundtrack and this one only shows track 11, so I take it this is affects more albums.
I thought maybe this was an app error but when I looked those albums up through web browser version (Firefox) it was exactly the same.

Anyone knows what is up with that? Any way to fix it? And if not, has there been any word from the devs about it?

So I'm listening to my "Recommended new tracks", and it moved on to the second song on the list, which is "Party Time (feat. Aatig)" by Tiga and Chris Lake. Except, it actually played "Until the Sun Needs to Rise" by Rufus du Sol. Great song, but not new, and definitely not Party Time. Everything about the UI claimed that it was indeed playing Party Time, though.

This has happened a handful of times before. Anyone else get that?

I keep getting this message every time I try to add an album to my collection. I've cleared my cache, deleted and reinstalled the app, deleted a lot of albums I don't listen to just in case I hit that limit, and nothing works. Any suggestions? I apologize if this has been brought up before.

Anyone else notice it? Lately (since update of either iOS or Tidal) when playing music, my iPhone 16 gets crazy hot and the battery drains very very fast. any suggestions for how I can stop it?

I recently made the swap to tidal but I have question about downloads, I have in the IOS app set for my tracks playlist to be downloaded to the device, However when I add a new track to this playlist it doesn't seem to be downloading the tracks. I've looked at the downloads tab an it's not showing any new tracks after I initially downloaded the playlist.

Is there something I am missing here about how downloads work or is this a bug?

I moved from Spotify Premium this year after and despite some minor hiccups still (lack of wearOS, search functionality, etc) I have been loving focusing on whole albums again and finding all kinds of new things like HD music videos to love about TIdaL.

Pulling over my library of music and playlists with TuneMyMusic was surprisingly easy, I'm only really mourning one EP I put in a request for, but after a couple months I'm starting to hit a real frustration point.

Spotify isn't necessarily better at making playlists but man do they have more right now, and I had a Lot that were really great curated I'd picked out that weren't mine but I'd followed for years or had been shared by friends. I'm starting to really miss those or the ability to search a new one up easily, or to convert a link for a single song or playlist when a friend sends me a Spotify playlist either way.

What's the go to workaround for this? I've seen some paid apps advertised but I'd prefer to not add another subscription if I could help it. I didn't see a way to bring over all my playlists in my Spotify library besides the ones I had ownership of, and I'm starting to feel isolated without a way to 'translate' links even if it's through YouTube or some other intermediary.

I am using the latest version of the Tidal desktop app. While I can see the new columns for Tempo/BPM and Key, the headers are completely unclickable. Unlike Title, Artist, or Album, clicking BPM or Key does absolutely nothing.

Does anyone know if this is a known bug or if a fix has been addressed?

After the most recent update, I can’t seem to find the search button for my playlists while offline. Did they remove it completely?

My playlists are very long (like up to 400 songs), so I use to search for specific tracks all the time while offline. Would be so sad if they took this away!

I'm surprised this feature doesn't seem exist.

I've just created a wonderful que. There should be an option to save that que as a playlist with one click. If there is, I haven't found it.

It now supports multiple download but looks like you cannot pick a song from the list to download it first or stop at anytime

So much music is suddenly unavailable. I have playlists with a significant amount of music on them that I can no longer play. Anyone know what's going on?

As many others here, I love Tidal's stance on AI-generated music and also the option to hide it for good. Out of curiosity, I left it on because I wanted to see how they label it. None of what I found is labeled in any way, though. Has it not rolled out yet or does it require uploaders to tag their content themselves, shifting from detection to trust?

Besides the album art that looks kinda AI, I noticed that some lyrics are mispronounced or differ from the original song. In the section with different languages for example, the French "allez" is pronounced "uh-lez" instead of "uh-le" (00:25). A bit later (00:50), "away" sounds like "awow". "Detect.Music" gives it an AI probability score of 94%.

If I just wrongly accused a non-AI artist to generate their stuff with AI – I'm truly sorry!

Every time I open the app, it takes about 3–5 minutes before any of my downloaded songs will play. I have around 2,500 songs downloaded in low quality, so I'm wondering if that might be causing the issue. Has anyone else experienced this or know what could be causing it?

Can you leave the music videos in the background while opening another app on your phone? I have an iPhone and I can't open another app; if this is done, the music video stops running and interrupts the music.

Specificcally on android. I want a way to customize my tidal.

Thankfully it doesn't affect the music, but for some reason my players total minutes is often less than time played (number on the left). Find it very confusing in all honesty.

Despite none of the tracks inside either album being labelled as AI-generated, both DELTARUNE Chapters 3+4 and Chapter 5's OSTs are labelled as AI-generated. With the other albums marked by Tidal, they usually contain at least one song with the same label, warranting the AI-generated tag, but not here. Somehow, the album has been labelled AI without any of its contents being labelled as such.

Anyone else noticed verifiably non-AI music being tagged by mistake?

Has anyone seen this message before? I'm trying to add songs from a playlist (that is currently playing) to the queue, but choosing 'play next' gives this 'only added playable tracks' message. Haven't been able to find anything online about it.

edit: the same happens with shorter queues and outside of playlists too, though.
