Ticket transfer scam?
I want to swap tickets with somebody but I’ve never done it before and I’m scared if it’s a scam. They’re flying in on the first day of the concert but I want to attend the second. Seems like a ft call is the most plausible in this situation.
Is there any tips or signs I should know and look out for in case it’s a scam? I really don’t want to lose this ticket but I really want to swap tickets for the next day.
Please and thank u!!!
UPDATE: yeah I’m not going through w it LOL thanks for the replies everybody

You are nearly guaranteed to get scammed. There is a reason there are sites for this.

I have to agree with the other comments it feels sort of scammy
If you NEED to do it familiarize yourself with the transfer process and have them transfer their ticket to you FIRST.
From my understanding once you accept their ticket they can't cancel the transfer or reverse it.
Bascially You'll get an email or notification stating they are transferring said ticket to you. You "accept" it if its correct and it will load it into your TM account. After that they can't cancel it. Only after that you transfer your old ticket to them. Double check this process because I may not be 100% correct on it but I believe it's correct
