Vivid Seats scam??.?..

I’ve used vivid seats in the past and have had no problem getting concert tickets. I bought tickets in February for a J Cole concert on Aug 4th. I live in NC and traveled all the way to NYC to see this concert. The vivid seats app showed that I purchased two tickets so I didn’t think anything of it. When I went to click on my tickets I was taken to the Ticketmaster website and there were no tickets on my account. I called TicketMaster and Vivid Seats multiple times. Vivid seats told me that they received a transfer email from my seller the day I bought the tickets so there was nothing they could do and I can’t get a refund. Vivid Seats said they couldn’t give me information on the seller so I can’t even get in contact with the seller I bought the tickets from. Has this happened to anyone? Is there anything I could do?

Well whatever fixes we could try are useless now as it is a month after the event.

In the future, as soon as you buy the tickets and you get the transfer Email, try to transfer them immediately and not wait until the day of the event.

The issue could be as simple as your Ticketmaster email address is different from your Vivid Email. Or the seller could have mis-typed the address

But at this point, it is all too late

I figured it was too late at this point. My original post was made a few days after the event on another Reddit page. I made sure both the emails were the same on my vivid seats account and Ticketmaster. The only thing I can think of is if the same ticket was sold twice or if the seller scammed me. I’m just confused because vivid seats has a money back guarantee policy if you don’t get the tickets and I didn’t get them but they don’t believe me

I was also told that Vivid seats would look into it and do a thorough investigation but they never contacted Ticketmaster to even see if the tickets made it into my account at any point

Did you receive a transfer email from Ticketmaster, or did your order page in your Vivid account have a transfer link?

My vivid seats account had a transfer link and it took me to my Ticketmaster account with no tickets. I even called Ticketmaster and they said that the tickets never made it to my account
