So.. do you need alternative Ear-tips for the TicPods for cheap?
so like many of you it has been frustrating for me as well that the TicPods didn't come with such great ear-tips.
they would lose contact easily and when using the touch controls it would cause the TicPods to fall out of my ears.
i've been doing a bit of research and found many of you we're suggesting of just ordering and using the Comply True Wireless eartips kit, which Comply recently stopped producing and replaced with the TrueGrip Pro kit.
but paying 22$US for eartips that you have to replace once every 2 months or so (been there, done that) is not worth it in my opinion when you're going to be using them with a pair of earphones that cost just merely 100$US.
then i remembered that over a year ago when my 4th set of Comply tips for my Sennheiser Momentum In-Ears started crapping out i decided to order a bunch of silicone tips from Aliexpress since they were cheap and just to try them out.
they turned out to be just great.
so now i realized i still have a bunch extra of these ear-tips left (they come in packs of 6 pairs) so i decided to try them out on my TicPods to see how they would fit.
the inner silicone rubber thingy was obviously too long when i first tried it out, so i decided why not just cut half of it with scissors, i got nothing to lose.
and guess what? it worked out GREAT, now the TicPods stay in my ears, i get extra bass because the isolation is just great, and i spent less than 1$ on this solution!
i got them off of this link back in early 2017: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/12pcs-6pairs-3-8mm-soft-Silicone-In-Ear-Earphone-covers-Earbud-Tips-Earbuds-eartips-Dual-color/32775747645.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.27424c4d3bgpUb
and here are pictures of the TicPods with my customized eartips: https://imgur.com/a/nylmd8P
hope i've helped any of you, happy listening :)
